Chapter 25: Chapter 23- The War's Finale

The [Hurricane Blast] rushed towards Gamel causing her to fall to the ground unconscious. The giant boulder inside the tornado charged at her causing some of her bones to break. She tried to use [Heal] on herself but the [Wind slashes] from the center targeted her while the powerful tornado along with gravity magic keeps her in an immobile state.

Brim smirked knowing that no supreme mage would be able to withstand this attack, and was so sure that he had killed Gamel. When the dust particles cleared off, his eyes widened when he saw Gamel still alive, and standing there as if nothing happened.

" Impossible!" even the soldiers can't believe in what their seeing. If the one their seeing was Gamel's soul then it's natural but her body isn't glowing so it means that she's still alive.

" You seem to be surprised Brim." she said while giving him a smirk. Kazuki who's watching in the sideline was curious in what happened so he shouted, " What happened?!"

" Haven't you learned that Nature magic has strong healing and revival capabilities compared to other elements" she asked Brim who was dumbfounded. Nature is known as the greatest healing and revival element. It's healing powers can cure the deepest wounds or even regenerate missing parts based on your affinity, but it's revival magic only applies to plants and animals.

Brim could still not understand what happened. He was so sure that the [Hurricane Blast] gave her no chance to use heal so it's impossible for her to remain alive after that attack.

" Do you think logic will be able to save you this time?" Gamel asked while looking at Brim who was still confused.

Upon hearing the word "Logic" the pieces in Brim's mind were connected. Even the soldiers were amazed in what happened.

" You don't mean....." Brim's voice trembled and he could not complete his sentence.

" Yes. I have changed the logic of revival and could revive people including myself" she said casually. The people almost spat blood due to the sudden revelation but Kazuki remained calm, or rather.....dumbfounded.

He could not feel surprised because his knowledge about magic is lower that a 7 year old is smarter than him at magic. Pegasus also noticed this flaw and planned to ask Griffin to enroll him to an academy when they return.

On the other hand, Brim ignored his surprise and charged at Gamel. He infused lightning to his sword and swung it aimed at at Gamel's neck. She countered his attack by manipulating a tree branch to clash with the sword. In order to end the fight quick, Gamel used [Blue Rose], a fourth tier spell that can't kill a supreme mage but make him immobile for a few days. Only supreme mages with nature affinity can use that skill.

" Sir Brim is down! All forces retreat!" the knight captain shouted knowing that they would lose. A supreme mage is the strongest person, and one supreme mage joining the battlefield could easily turn the tables.

The knights of Crux ran away while four of them are carrying the immobile Brim. The paladins, as well as the holy guards chased after them while the invisible archers helped the injured and captured the remaining troops as prisoners of war.
