He used his holographic system to start planning. He knew he would have to work in the two gems but other than that he could compress the other materials as much as he wanted. That being said, if he did not distribute all the material properly it would mess up the flow and stunt its abilities massively. He also needed to inscribe the hardened flame symbol somewhere on it for it to gain its reforging nature
He first wanted to spread it all evenly, but the flame iron was too thin and didn't have enough fire in a single spot to make a solid mana vein. He then did it half and half, so that they were completely split apart like yin and yang. He had a strong vain, but the mana vain would fizzle out before it could reach around to hit everything. He continued trying designs until he found one that worked. It ended up being a ring of flame iron completely encased in the compressed slime cores. The cores came out to look like a semi-translucent dark blue with bioluminescent properties. The veins of fire mana shot all around, turning the dark blue into a light infernal red. The gems were put side by side in the slime, causing the mana veins to multiply around it.
The veins couldnt be seen when it wasn't being used, but the slime stayed its orange red color even when not being used. He also put in small triangle dents as well as the hardened flame symbol to make sure it would give magic stats as well as growth abilities. The process of designing it took the entire night, so by the time he wanted to start actually crafting it was already time for class. He wouldn't have his team class till monday, but sunday was an optional intro class.
Students had weekends off, but most people didn't take them as falling behind was often fadal. This caused many older students to host classes on the weekends for profit. The class everyone was going to today was free, but they would normally cost money. One student in particular, a sixth year student named Quill was in charge of this class and managed a ton of other ones on campus. He made millions of dollars every year from this business sense he started in his second year. He personally would teach others how to do classes as well as the super big ones like now.
"HELLLLLLLLO EVERYONE!!!!"
His yell echoed around the stage. This took place in the hall everyone first entered in, so it took twenty minutes to get there but they thought it would be worth it.
"I AM HERE TO TEACH YOU ALL A LESSON."
Jake sat in the quiet audience.
"DO YOU ALL WANT ME TO TEACH YOU A LESSON"
Another moment of silence.
"I said, DO YOU ALL WANT ME TO TEACH YOU A LESSON"
Everyone then got the hint that this was more a performance then a class and yelled out how they did.
The spotlights all pointed at Quill. He had a lean figure, smooth pale skin, and short jet black hair, making him look not only hot, but smart too. This most definitely worked in his favor as the entire audience was staring and hanging on his words.
"Freshmen in the class of March 2034, hopefully that all of you will graduate and I'm here to make it easier for you all to do so. In the past three years the dropout rate has gone down by 15% because of my classes, and I plan to increase that number my final year here. We offer a myriad of courses to increase stats, skills, or to gain EXP towards your class."
'15%!?!' Everyone was thinking. That was a huge number for weekend classes to give alone.
"I'm going to prove it all to you at the end, I promise."
The rest of the presentation was impressive to say the least. He went through a few of the classes offered and what they guaranteed. The classes weren't cheap, but for the benefits they would be well worth it to anyone. Increasing stats safely was very difficult, but they had the equipment to do it. Learning skill through teaching instead of a skill book was difficult but they had the teachers to do it. They were promising huge benefits, but everyone was also warned about the time and money commitment that were required for the full benefits. But then Quill did something strange, he began discussing philosophy. He talked for twenty minutes about how the world was controlled by the system. He talked about how different things would be if people couldn't see the system panel. Jake knew this better than anyone about this, but he hadn't thought about it before. Were the two worlds the same outside of the system panel? It was completely possible that without the system they never learned to use mana. He had also only seen people of his own race, so it was possible they didn't have world raids to bring in new races.
[Stat wisdom unlocked]
[You have gained 1 wisdom]
This is what he meant by proving it. He not only unlocked a stat, but a really important one that increased mana regeneration rate and made it faster to learn using skill books. Getting a stat in 20 minutes was insane, and really did prove how effective the classes could be. The meating ended, and everyone used their hearthstone to get back to their buildings. It was still midday and some people were picking out their parties, so going outside was a little difficult. Most people were picking out what courses to take with Quill, but Jake had more important things to do.
