"The Master is married, therefore you are the Mistress." She explains grinning 

"Right," I smirk. She wasn't wrong, I knew Lorenzo was Married. I saw the ring after all, but it didn't affect me. I knew it was a loveless marriage, but it does make me the other woman. 

"You know what, I think I will take that refreshment after all." I clap my hands together. I needed to teach her a lesson for talking to me like that.

"The lady of the house normally took her refreshments in the sunroom, but yours can be served in the parlour." She orders the other maids in Russian and they all turn and walked away. 

"This way Mistress," she gestures for me to follow her. 

"Are you head maid?" I asked as I followed her,

"Yes, I'm the one to call if you need anything. Of course, the lady of the house normally has a handmaiden but that doesn't refer to you." 

"Of course, I am just the mistress after all," I say.
