Iris Home late at night
Words from Rose were still ringing in my ears like some warning not to go close to Soren. I just lie down back and stuff my face with pillow forgetting everything happened so far but all memories were still fresh.
The meeting, the promise and the warming.
Was I not a person who deserve love were all in my head.
" I guess, love and me are like same poles of magnet which can never meet no matter how much force one applies."
But this is not want, I also want to enjoy fresh feeling of first love as it might be impossible but want to have such moments even though for a short period of time.
Then the hero of my life, my chubby entered the room. I just hugged him tight and start rubbing his skin. I just felt something else with his dog collar. It was a message. A message from Vince.
"It may not be this time but will surely next time."
Oh god when I thought I was not able to get love this lifetime you send this. Is this a message for me that Soren and me are not each other soul mates but Me and Vince are. Instead of Soren, chances of being with Vince are more high. He knew my identity, and we could get back together like past. I always looked at him but this it might be a turn of events which may make him like me or even love me.
All is well that ends well. And I slept till late in the morning. It was first time that I slept till 9.
I rushed back downstairs and saw that breakfast was all ready and on the other side of table Vince was having his breakfast. I went close to the table.
"Sorry Vince, I... I don't know how but I slept till late and you have to prepare meal all yourself. It won't be next time."
"Just get down and have it. It's also my obligation to undertake cooking and all household stuff but you do all yourself. Should I apologize everytime when you do something for me which I am not able to do. Be at ease, and have dinner."
This was the longest sentence I heard from him in the paat few years. Did he eat something wrong or Am I still in dream. I just looked at the dishes on the table which were nicely done and my gaze just stop at the Waffle which were by the side.
"Waffle?"
"Sometimes one should have some desserts in the dining table. It looks good and there is also a change. A change is must. Change is in the nature if one doesn't change he will be left far behind."
And here I was convinced that he had contracted a fever or other disease. He was not himself, no he was entirely a different personality. Maybe someone has hypnotized him or some kind of magic.
Vince just recite this spell and you may be free from any spell.
"Isjesten.. "
"Oh Iris, I am not under a spell. I am just living the best of my days. The formula for botanical serum which I was working on pass. I may get a chance no I will surely get a chance to work as an assistant in a famous medical laboratory soon. Now all my dreams will come true. I have to move to a big city after I settled down I will call you there and all the things will sail smooth from now onwards. I want to share this news last night but you were upset, I guess you lost the competition but don't worry may be next time."
So this was the reason of all the sweetness. I was happy for his future but this would meant we have to depart for a long time and we might not be able to live like this again.
"I am happy for you" I said in solemn voice.
"I know you are right. Let's celebrate this occasion. How about going on movies this weekend ? We can.. "
"I already have plan this weekend. "
"What about next weekend ?"
"My exams are going to start soon so not possible real soon."
"Then we will celebrate a big when we shift to other town."
"Yeah" I said in low voice
I don't know whether it was because of Vince's words or because of my ego I was more determined to go with Soren this time.
Ding.
Message from Rose, " Witchy, see you at 1 in the afternoon this weekend. Let's do twinning yellow top, white jeans with sunglasses. What do you say??"
"Cool" I replied.
"Let's just forget ourselves and enjoy to fullest with someone's else money" Rose replied.
"Anything you say."
