Chapter 22: Is This Not What I thought
Kaine looks at Wilbert with dejected eyes.
Kaine : It was love dad !!You have to believe me.
Wilbert: NO!! You had a long day of loss and you don't -
Kaine: Even if it was out of pity -
Wilbert: I don't need to hear it from you. You don't know the full story you only saw this from a distance.
Kaine : I will know the full story through this journal!! One thing I noticed is the fact that you saved her once and you never told any of us...( sniff)
Wilbert: It was your mother's wish not to tell any of you kids. It will say in the journal if so ,it not I'm telling you now.
Kaine : That's not what I thought you'd say , I thought you hated to see me ,to be near me .
Wilbert: Knowing you are my daughter ,first with Annie.
I somehow pity her ( laughs) ,to make me think she even loved me ...was to have you. ( laughs) Being a girl none the less ,Haha (covers mouth ) knowing a girl won't do to be an heir to her precious family blood line ...much less her blood being tainted by me .
(Falls to knees)
(Wilbert looks down at the floor.)
Wilbert* : (sobs ) You want to know why I know !? Don't you Kaine ??!!
Kaine : If it doesn't hurt you in the end , you should just let me read it.
Wilbert : Annie never thanked me for saving her , all this time I was waiting for her to tell me but she took that to the grave. Never thanking me...she used me and I fell for her.
Kaine : Stop this ! Dad stop my whole image of you two-
Wilbert: Don't you get it Kaine ?It was merely an image for you kids.
Kaine : NO ,NO !! I WONT ACCEPT THAT !!( runs off again)
Wilbert: Can't keep running away Kaine ,now that you know what you are ,you must bring many more generations to come!!
~With Drew and Kerem at the living room.~
Kareem : How have you been feeling lately ? Ever since the accident that you caused.
Drew : I couldn't tell her I killed her mother even though ,her face looked willing. Should I say she was aroused ,I did feel her boudasius chest.
Kareem: Are you serious? That's what you felt?
Drew: When I bit into her ,a memory she regreted the most. Should I say it was sad...
Kareem: What did you see Drew...( faces him )
Drew: She wanted to die on the day ...I don't know the full details.
Kareem: A suicidal mother and you have feelings for this girl?
Drew : I want to be chosen yes.

Alice :You must calm down, and read the journal she left you,don't let your dad ruin it all for you.

With Wilbert outside and it's raining.
Wilbert : Rain !? of all things !!( looks down )
Sally : Wilbert please come back inside the house you are frail and shouldn't be outside.
Wilbert : What's it for you...why do you care...? HUH ??( Knocks away umbrella)
Sally : Don't do this to yourself, you know your kids love you back.
Wilbert : Kids , kids ,the kids she didn't want from me !!If she didn't love me , WHY HAVE MY KIDS !!??AHHH!!
WHY TORTURE ME WITH HAPPINESS WHEN THEY WERE ALL BORN?!!?
Sally : ( slaps Wilbert ) You are wrong !! Annie didn't love you at first but she learned to love again. She learned to love you. Over the years -
Wilbert : I really don't care !! Why couldn't you just told me you loved me then?! ( grabs her by the shoulder)Could of saved me my time and wasted love on the wrong person.
Sally : Don't say that !! She gave you children who love you and the person they need right now.
Wilbert : Did you know everything from her?
Sally : Yes I know mostly everything is-
Wilbert: * screams * NO YOU DONT !! Ever since I saved her ...not once did she ever thanked me. For saving her life.
Sally : You never thought of a thank you from her point of view? She may not have said it but taking care of you is a way -
Wilbert : DON'T!!! I WANTED HER TO TELL ME NOT LATER TO THINK ON.
Sally : Then you really are lost !! I should of just told you how I felt but when I managed to have the courage to say it, you saved her. I wish I could save you but you keep pushing me away!!
Wilbert : There's nothing that can save me, I am to die soon.
Sally: ( pins Wilbert down on the rainy grass) Don't avoid me ...( sniff ) Don't you see I'm willing to be with you.( grabs his hands to fondle her chest .)
Wilbert: They feel great but -
Sally : ( bends down and kisses Wilbert's lips )
Wilbert: ( hugs her and kisses her back)(*in his head)
this is not what I thought she'd do. Not in a million years.
( both stop kissing)
Sally : I'm not sorry !! This is how I felt for you ...
Wilbert*: Then don't hide it ,to think you'd love all these years...we should go inside are clothes are drenched.
Kaine witnessing that whole scene and runs back to Alice's house.
( knocks at the door )
Kaine : Open the door please !!
Shocked Alice opens the door
Alice : What has gotten into you ?
Kaine : Could I stay here for today ,I don't feel so good.
Alice : Sure ,right mom !? Come on in .
Kaine enters the house
Kaine : ( sees Alois) So Alois does eat right ?!
Serra : Of course he does ,bite size though .
I guess you don't want to talk about your mother.
Kaine : Not right now ,no !! I'm sorry -

With Wilbert and Sally in the bath together
Sally : Taking a bath is not the only thing we are doing,are we?!
Wilbert : I'm much to angry for anything else...( touches her lips with his pointer) Not in the mood ...sorry.
Sally : ( licks his finger ) I knew it,you weren't going to be happy with me!! After I have sealed my feelings for you.
Wilbert: You could've just come to my room-
Sally : ( Slaps Wilbert across his face ) HOW DARE YOU!! DON'T THINK OF ME IN THAT WAY !!!
Wilbert: (laughs ) You actually hit me ...
Sally : I don't like this!! You can go and sleep on your own!! ( steps out of the tub)
Wilbert: Wait !! Don't go!! ( steps out and runs after her)
Lighting and thunder strike near them
Wilbert catches up to Sally and turns her to face him.
Wilbert: I'm sorry ok ??
Sally Slaps his hand away and walks away.
Wilbert: You are going to go like that? naked?
Sally : I gotta go,you are acting like a kid.
Wilbert : ( Covers her with a cloth) You don't have to be so angry.
Sally : I know you just lost Annie...but did you ever have her?
Wilbert : Don't !! Your making me angry so I could hurt you, and I don't want you like that!!!
Sally : This is not the way you want ? What about my wants and needs? ( looks at Wilbert) I want you to ravish me ,here ,the bed, on the floor... anywhere you want. If not I will leave naked ....
Wilbert: I can't...I just want to be next to you right now,after learning you wasted your love on me.
Sally : It wasn't wasted...( takes his hand and both lay in bed) I just wanted you, for lost time.
