Chapter 24: Masquerade 4.0
Oh… the door was able to be held by Cassandra with her right foot thrust in. The girl's lips pursed in anger. Meanwhile, the corner of Laura's eyes glanced at Cassandra's feet which were squeezed by her bedroom door. Laura turned her gaze towards Cassandra without changing her relaxed expression.
"If you stay at my house, follow the rules, Kristeva." Cassandra pushed Laura's door wide open.
Laura sighed softly, ushering Cassandra into her room. welcome? Too polite. To be more precise, Cassandra barged into the room while Laura walked lazily placing the long-legged glass in her hand on the dressing table. One hand is placed on the table as a support for her body while the other hand is on the waist.
Still, in a rage, Cassandra strode over to the tape and turned it off. Her eyes scanned her sharply, like daggers a blacksmith had sharpened for years. Pointy and stabbing. But he was wrong. Laura's gaze at that moment was more piercing even though the vampire girl rdögöt gave off a flat emotion.
"Satisfied?" Laura asked sarcastically.
"You demon vampire bitch. You have to be taught how to be a nice sweet girl." Cassandra's lips trembled. O-oh, maybe shortly the two of them got into another fight.
"I'm a sweet and good girl." Laura smiled sweetly. Then she removed it that very second. "But that was then. I changed."
Even though Hallot disappeared from her body, her evil influence had turned Laura from a cute girl to an evil one. Perhaps on the other hand Laura should thank Hallot. If she was dealing with an evil girl like Cassandra, she would have to be evil too. Predators that threaten other predators, that's the term.
Cassandra looked straight at Laura. Her hands were clasped tightly into fists so that the skin on her palms turned red. Several things happened at that moment. Suddenly there was a high-pitched sound that almost pierced her eardrums. The glass, wine bottle, and mirror near Laura shattered at the speed of nanoseconds. And Laura fell while clenching her ears, suppressing the shrill noise that almost deafened her senses of hearing.
"How does it feel, Laura?" Cassandra sighed with satisfaction.
What a pity. If only Laura was a kind of Hexa who had supernatural abilities! Does that mean she can't fight back? Oh, of course, she can. By using her instincts. Although the Ordögöt did not have the advantage in terms of supernatural abilities, they were superior in physical strength.
Laura's head shot up. Her nose showed blackish red blood due to Cassandra's continuing actions. She growled through her gritted teeth. And in no time, she was standing in front of Cassandra, strangling her by the neck. Cassandra's body was lifted, before finally slamming into the wall. There was a crack where Cassandra's body was thrown. The girl groaned softly touching her chest. A pair of eyes pierced Laura who walked up to her with graceful steps. Laura smiled slightly, tilting her head to one side as she watched Cassandra fall in one go.
"Don't mess with me," Laura whispered, chuckling.
"You will pay it, Kristeva," Cassandra growled. She stood limply still with her hand on her chest. The corners of her lips and nose were bleeding.
Laura chuckled again. She wiped clean the blood that came out of her nose from Cassandra's painful power earlier. Then, her index finger which was filled with her own blood was sucked in like a drop of honey. No vampire tasted their own blood. Laura Kristeva is the only vampire who often does that. Even though she knew that vampire blood tasted terrible.
Not wanting to add to the trouble, Cassandra left Laura's room in furious strides. In her heart she cursed Laura, promising to repay Laura one day. More painful. And more terrible.
