Chapter 173: Virtuous Reinforcements (1)

Benjamin looked at him. "Didn't you tell me what, Malcom?" He asked with a frown as he walked towards him. 

Malcom took a deep breath, and all their eyes were on him when the Marked said, "There is a reason why magical treasures cannot be created today... It is because human sacrifices were used for their creation. The more powerful the treasure, the greater the sacrifices."

Ben looked directly at him, and seeing his hammer for a minute, he thought of how many people could be sacrificed to create a weapon like that. 

It was clearly an extremely powerful magical treasure. 

Looking up, he saw Wendy, and the young woman with a serious look said, "It is impossible to know how many people died for your hammer to be created… or the mantle. Before using a magic treasure, you should know that!" 

Ben looked at Malcom and, with some disbelief, asked, "Why did you not tell me?"
