Chapter 80: The Spirit of the Sky (2)

Alexander looked at her excitedly. He let out another howl before he said, "Yes! That's Right, that's how it must be, don't give up!"

Skyler's smile disappeared before she glared at Alexander.

Malcom stood on guard. While Skyler glared at Alexander, her body was trembling from unmasked anger.

"I'm sick of everyone being stronger than me!" Skyler said coldly.

Malcom looked at her, her gaze was fixed, and her breathing was still stable.

She looked strongly concentrated, and leaning her body forward activated her magic power.

From the soles of her feet, she generated two explosions that sent her shooting in Alexander's direction.

He prepared to stop her, but Skyler opened her mouth and released a huge amount of smoke covering her body.

Alexander reacted to that attack, and with speed, he used his wind to disperse the smoke only to see how a fireball moved towards his face.

He dodged the fireball by tilting his body to the side, but Skyler landed behind him, and with a kick to his feet, she made him lose his balance.

With her right hand, she took Harris's eye from the head of that man. She activated her magic power to raise a huge fire tower with her left hand.

Alexander jumped to avoid that attack, and Skyler, anticipating the place where he would fall, prepared her Twin Suns and accurately threw it. Still, the spirit of the Sky never descended from the air.

"What the hell?! That's cheating!" Skyler yelled through clenched teeth as she glared at how her opponent flew through the sky casually.

Alexander's body remained light in the air, and he calmly descended on a stone crouching in front of both mages.

"How the heck can you fly and use various elements!?" Skyler demanded angrily.

Alexander grinned and replied, "You still believe that I am an elemental, but not really! I am a Shaman!"

Malcom looked at Skyler, and she was confused. She clenched her jaw.

The man in front of them was laughing before he explained, "You are actually strong. I see why Bones had to intervene to bring you in. You are actually powerful!"

His words seemed sincere, but that did not change the fact that Skyler and Malcom took it as an insult.

The smiling man got up and dusted his shorts using his hands before he said, "I appreciate the entertainment! But it's over. I must take you back."

Skyler looked at Malcom seriously. Both grew alarmed and cautious. The feeling that they were getting from Alexander at that moment was starting to resemble the feeling one gets from a Sacred Virtue. It was an unbelievable idea, but it still crossed their minds.

"Sorry, guys!" Alexander said, adopting a very serious expression.

Just as he said that Alexander He raised his hand and, with speed, threw a bolt of lightning in the direction of Skyler.

Malcom moved quickly to get in the way and activate his magic shield that broke instantly, causing the Marked to receive the electric shock.

His body went numb, and his consciousness slowly faded. As he lowered himself, he mustered all the strength he could to point to Harris's eye on Sky's hand and, when she saw that, she understood him.

Malcom fell to the ground and was excited.

"What a speed. He moved before the lightning hit you!" Alexander commented loudly.

Skyler put the cap on her head. Malcom was trying hard not to lose consciousness.

Alexander raised his hand to throw another attack when Skyler put on the hat.

"Harris's eye!" Just as she said that the eye gleamed, and just as it did when Malcom was fighting the Guardian of the sun, the eye opened.

Skyler felt her magical energy flowing with power towards the hat. She could clearly see Alexander and everything that would happen, the young woman, before the sensation of clairvoyance could not help but smile, and with speed, she took action.

She threw a tiny ball of fire towards Alexander's left side. Leaning down, she evaded the lightning that he sent and took Malcom out of the battle line.

After throwing the lightning bolt, Alexander decided to move to look for a better line of combat. Still, the fireball hit him directly in his face, making him lose sight of the enemies.

The heat bothered him, but he saw how a huge attack was heading towards him when he opened his eyes. He tried to avoid it by flying, but Skyler was pointing at him with two powerful fireballs.

"What the fuck?!" Alexander yelled, surprised when he saw her in front of him.

Skyler fired both fireballs, and Alexander flew straight out of the line of fire. Still, the fireballs collided with the ground only to rise like volcanoes meters ahead of where Alexander was heading, engulfing him in the fire.

The man felt the intense burns on his body, and when he could squint, he saw how Skyler firmly placed himself in a position as if she had a grasped bow and a fire arrow appeared in her hand.

Alexander tried to dodge it when she threw it, but the arrow was leading to the point where he would move as if Skyler knew what he would do before he did.

The arrow directly hit his chest and turning into a fiery lion.

"Fire of the King!" Skyler called out. And that attack dragged Alexander for a long space back into the forest before exploding into flames.

When Skyler landed, Harris's eye un-transformed. She could not believe the amount of energy that that treasure absorbed.

Looking at Malcom, she helped him up, and they both began to advance, but before they could get too far, a bolt of very powerful lightning rose up to the Sky.

They both saw how the clouds gathered in that place, and slowly rising, Alexander rose into the air.

His tattoos were shining this time, and his eyes showed a spiritual possession.

Rain and lightning began to adorn the Sky. The young man shouted, "Spirit of the Sky! Give me your power!"
