Malcom looked down at the terrain, the city had been left behind and with it the complaints, the complexes, the hatred and reproach of all those who blamed him for the situation they were in, Sebastian's mission, although sudden, was actually a good way to get out of town.

He hadn't even had time to say goodbye to anyone, and the situation he was in was perhaps for the best. He thought of touching his necklace to try to talk to Skyler, but the night before she hadn't answered, he didn't know why but maybe she just didn't want to talk to him.

And could he blame her? Not really, he had to make a decision, he couldn't just keep Skyler waiting, things in his life were complicated but that was no reason to just ignore the fact that he and Skyler were in the middle of something.
