Livana stirred in her sleep. She was too hot. She opened her eyes to see that everything was still dark. She was all sweaty. This hadn't happened in a while, not since she last had been home with her family for sure. She wasn't facing the window anymore, she was facing Kaeleb who was fast asleep, his face inches away from hers. She was curled up in his arms. She furrowed her brows upon noticing that Kaeleb had shaved. He wasn't cleaned shaved, he still had a bread but it was shorter and well cut, slightly longer than a three days stubble but still short enough to be referred to as one.
