Chapter 8: Chapter 7
We kept exploring the dungeon till we came to a set of doors. 2 Red and white doors just inviting us inside. "Is this the boss?" I asked in a anxious tone.
"Yh, were the only ones who have explored this dungeon what else could it be?" He said angrily
When we entered there was a large white rat greeting us with a bite. We were a bit off guard so one of our mages almost died. Luckily
the tankers leapt to the front line and the damage dealers started attacking the monster. I stood there observing the lair. I observed the rat ruby crystal eyes they were full of fear and it was cowering away from something else. I looked around more to see 4 corpses of something that seemed to resemble other white rats. There eyes were like the rat that we were fighting. It seemed like they were scared of someone or should I say something.
"Finally we killed the rat!" He said with a triumphant look.
I looked at our team, we were in terrible conditions, the tanks were low on health and the healers and damage dealers were low on MP ( magic points). There was no way we can fight a final boss.
"Guys let's turn back." I said full of worry.
"No, we have defeated the final boss now we just need to find the loot."
" I doubt this is the final boss I mean why are there 4 other dead rats." I said while pointing to the corpses.
"It was probably cannibalism so shut up and let's go find the loot." he said, he seemed like he was started to get impatient but he is risking our lives here.
" Look at the conditions of these rats how could this be cannibalism?"
Everyone started to worry and everyone was gossiping about the idea that maybe this wasn' t the boss.
"Maybe this isn't the boss." I heard a healer say
"Yh, you could be right kid." A scared tank said
"Enough! This is my guild my rules if you don't want to you can just stop being an adventurer and go back to school! Cuz no one else will accept someone with an ability of carrying, would they?"
I thought about just leaving but then I remembered mother, the one who I was working for. And I couldn' t bring myself to leave. I stayed silent and then we looked for the treasure
