Chapter 7: COMPLIMENTED ME
As I walked away with May ,she looked at me then smiled.
"You like him , don't you?",she asked.
"What-if I like him , what has that got to do", I said a little intimidated.
"I think he likes you too", she says.
My cheeks turned red , since we're friend I decided to tell her everything .
"You can't stop your self from liking him, so just like him", see suggested.
"But ,I need to study",I answered a little sad.
"Even though it's destructive just give it a try."she tried to convince me.
"I'm sorry but, I can't",I said .
After school I arrived home and as usual mom is not home. I changed into some shorts and top and did all my work.But before I could head up the doorbell rung.
Without thinking I opened the door only to meet ocean eyes staring at me from head to toe.
I was statled ,but then remembered of the project. How did he know my house.
"Eh....Hi",I stammered.
He just stared at me for a while before he finally spoke.
"....hi", he said rather slowly.
"...Come in",I invited him in.
After closing the door I headed to the kitchen,
"His here , don't mess things up, just act natural."I advised myself. I couldn't believe my crush is right in our living room ,but then remember his here for the project.
I made snacks and juice, then we started the project.
As we were trying put things in place, our hands touched, I looked up at him and our eyes met. I quickly looked away and continued with what I was doing.
All through the project I could feel him steal small glances at me. I only spoke when I needed an option from him. Until he spoke up.
"You look good in that", he said coolly.
That why he kept staring, I should have changed to something else.
"Thanks, but I forgot you were coming so I couldn't change",I said to make it clear.
"It good you didn't change, I like you in that",he said with a little chuckle.
I was very surprised and my face burned red and looked up to see his face with a teasing smile. I became a little angry and annoyed by his face.
Around 6pm that evening, we decided to continue tomorrow and I walked him to the door while he was behind me.
"See you tomorrow",I said while facing him.
"Okay...Oh I almost forgot",he said as he leaned to my ear.
"I really love to see you blush, how about tomorrow you wear something like this for me ,I would love that."he whispered close to my ear, making me blush even more ,a little surprised.
I quickly shut the door and ran up to my room, trying to relax my heart.
When mom came home ,I told her about our project work and that we will be doing it at my place and she had no problem with it.
I lay on my bed as I thought about what had happened today as I fell asleep.
