Chapter 88: Chapter 87: Brief Respite

It was the next day.

Mila, though she got enough sleep at night, has visible eyebags under her eyes as a result of a bad sleep because of her nightmare that woke her up with sweat throughout the night.

What happened in the event the night before has so greatly bothered her that it even hunted her in her sleep.

It was still early in the morning, and the sun still hadn't set yet, but Mila was already awake in her bed with her silver hair tangled with one another from her constant shift of position throughout the night and occasional grip on her hair out of frustration.

Mila was sitting up on the bed while nibbling on her nail as she tried to comprehend what she should do next.

The knock on the door made Mila briefly pause from nibbling her thumb, her silver hair falling gently around her face as she turned her head towards the source of the sound.
