Chapter 326: Lord June

"L-Lord!"

"What is it?"

"Someone is-"

BOOM!

A pair of doors blasted apart, a chunk of one slamming into the soldier who was reporting.

"Wha- Who dares?!"

Tilia walked into the room to see an overweight man roar furiously. With a tilt of her head she asked, "You are Lord. . . who again?"

"Lord June!", the man squealed.

"Ah, I remember now. I have come for you to end your tyranny against the villages. Release them from your grasp and you shall be spared."

"Some nobody comes into my manor and makes atrocious demands! Who are you?!"

"That matters not."

"Hah?! Reyol! Kill this peasant immediately!"

A sigh flowed through the room as a figure appeared, "My Lord, I have to recover-"

Tilia rose her guard, "So you show yourself."

"It's you! Come with a bit of surprise?"

"A bit of that, a tad of justice, and a bucket full of revenge."

"Lord, this will cost you extra."

June squealed again, "Fine fine! I'll pay you what you want, just kill her!!"

Reyol smirked, "That's what I like to hear! Sorry girlie, but I'm afraid a freshly awoken Second Star has nothing against me!"

Wooosh~!

Reyol's eyes narrowed as he felt his dagger bounce off a solid surface.

Tilia stood calmly, her War Sight fully encompassing her body. Extending out a hand the energy moved like a thick liquid and formed a tower shield.

Reyol taunted, "Are you still confident in that shield? I shattered it before, and it seems like you still have the scar."

Tilia merely braced herself for impact.

Knowing full well that he wasn't capable of destroying the shield, Reyol began to use his advantage in speed.

How'd he know? The strength he put behind his initial strike was the same he used to shatter the shield before. This time there wasn't even a scratch, almost as if his attack was nothing.

The wind kicked up as Reyol moved around Tilia at incredible speeds. Dust and light pieces of rubble began to lift and form a funnel. Afterimages began to form, they moved slowly as if dancing. Tilia watched in amusement, the movement seemed poor compared to Akiol's {Expeditious Steps}. Like a shoddy imitation.

The effort was commendable nonetheless.

"Let's see you handle this!"

Swoosh~Swoosh~

Daggers began flying towards Tilia from all directions. The faint sound of them falling to floor could be heard as they bounced off her shield.

She debated using her full body armor form, but she decided to humiliate the one who killed the Knight. Angering her opponent fit exactly in her style after all.

"Not bad! But we're just getting started!"

"Can you say stuff a little less cliché?", Tilia asked.

Dwon~

Tilia's shield pulsated as it blocked a sudden stab attack. Acting quickly Tilia pushed away the dagger, creating an opening.

Her fist slammed into Reyol's gut. He winced and grabbed his side, blood began to wet his clothes.

Tilia didn't miss this, "Injury from a previous fight? It's good to know your downfall will be from the Knight."

"You were unconscious during our battle, you know nothing!"

"Stories reach the ears of the curious. I of course heard of your battles, the whole village was witness to it!"

"Stories are always exaggerated."

"Of course they are, that's why you piece them together. Compare the equivalent bits."

Reyol's face wavered, "You don't mean to say-"

"I listened to their stories individually whilst I recovered. I pretty much know the whole fight, including the injuries you received."

"You're crazy!"

"I'm calculative, this battle wasn't a hasty one."

Reyol grit his teeth and retreated, going back to running around Tilia. This time it was clearly worse, the afterimages were blurry and almost falling apart. The wind that kicked up failed to lift any of the rubble.

Tilia's shield warped into a kite shield. This hovered in front of her, awaiting her command.

With a flick of her hand the shield flew forward and interrupted Reyol's path. Yet he viewed this as an opportunity and leapt up.

Tilia spun to the side, making Reyol's descending attack miss completely. She then slammed her elbow into his injury, causing it to reopen.

"Agh!"

Reyol rolled across the ground. As he picked himself back up he tightly gripped his wound, pain blossoming from it.

The Kite shield returned to the Tower shield in Tilia's hand. She watched Reyol calmly, "It would be best if you give up now."

"Sorry girlie, but my pay is on the line here!"

Before Reyol could attack, a mysterious figure appeared and struck him twice.

Reyol rolled away and sent a deadly glare to the newcomer. The figure had no facial features, a luxurious set of armor was placed on their body and they wielded a large Guandao. It was like a mannequin designed for a play.

This was the hero of dreams, the summoned entity from Tilia's cape. She had rarely used it, but she figured now was a good time. The hero of dreams spun their Guandao and charged forward. Reyol lifted his daggers to defend himself, but soon found his defenses were worthless.

Three stabs were executed across his body, causing even more blood loss. The hero of dreams did a final spin of their Guandao and sliced Reyol horizontally, worsening his wound.

Stumbling back Reyol fell to a knee, "Bastard."

The hero of dreams did not respond, instead it faded away.

The high pitch squeal entered Reyol's ear, "What are you doing?! Kill her already!!"

Reyol grit his teeth, it wasn't worth risking his life for a paycheck from the pig-like Lord. He needed to recover his wounds. This fight was a loss.

Standing to his feet he surrendered, "Alright girlie, you won this one. I'm sure the Lord here will listen to your demands."

"Surrendering?"

"And retreating, I've lost."

"Hm, no I don't think so."

"What-?!"

The wooden floor of the manor splintered from Tilia's sudden attack. She had teleported above Reyol and slammed him with her shield.

Now pinned Reyol shouted, "Why?! You won!"

"A certain Knight needs justice."

"You would go so far?!"

"Yeah."

Reyol almost bit his tongue in frustration, "Damn you!!"

Whroooom~

Tilia retreated as Reyol suddenly exploded in a vicious green energy. As the explosion faded she was able to regain sight on Reyol. He stood dripping in blood, green energy rose above his skin like steam. His breathing was heavy and chaotic, and his left eye was glowing green.

Tilia eye's narrowed as she received a system notification.

<Hidden requirements met! The hidden BOSS (Reyol the Slasher) has been awakened!>

<<Reyol the Slasher: LVL ???>>

Tilia placed the tower shield onto the ground with a thud. To think she'd fulfill the requirements to unleash a hidden boss. Could this be considered fortunate? She found the encounter ironic. To think her revenge would lead to this.

Reyol's movement suddenly became animalistic. Moving on all fours he sprang and ran about, his speed increasing by another level. Eventually he began to bounce about inside the room, a crazed laughter entered Tilia's ears. Regardless she kept a steady mind. Her senses were at their limit to keep up with the speed. Because of this, she caught onto Reyol's attack!

Bouncing off a wall he cleaved his dagger forward with deadly intent. Moving her shield she deflected the blow with minimal effort. Despite the increase in stats, Reyol still could not pierce her War Sight!

This sort of style was clearly devoid of any reasoning. Tilia found herself unable to predict the next move, and was forced to only react. Using small cues to defend herself in time since she was slower.

The dagger bounced off her shield yet again, but Reyol showed no signs of slowing. The time between attacks was growing shorter, Tilia was forced to a pure defensive position.

"Ahahahaha!"

Dwon~

Runes spread across her body, she decided to enchant herself slightly. As she could only enchant herself slightly instantly. Any stronger buffs would require chanting, and she didn't have time for that.

Dwon~

It grew more difficult to keep up with Reyol's speed. Tilia found herself being pressured to keep up. So she quickly changed her War Sight into the full body protection form. Reyol ran towards her and slashed through the air multiple times. Ranged crescent attacks began to shoot towards her.

Dwon-Dwon~

She deflected the attacks with her arms. They bounced off and landed onto the manor walls, leaving gashes in the stone. One attack almost hit the Lord, making him whimper in fear.

"Hahahahaha!", Reyol's crazed laughter filled the room.

Tilia's War Sight pulsated violently as she blocked a barrage of strikes. Reyol's dagger was a blur as he attacked nonstop. With a step back Tilia stomped the ground, a chunk of the earth arose and lifted Reyol into the sky. Changing her War Sight into the Kite Shield she slammed it into Reyol. This caused him to crash into the ground.

She launched forward, the Kite Shield flying back to her and reverting back to her full body protection.

Reyol stood up, although his sanity was eroded, his body was even more so. Despite his attempts his body simply could not move normally. Tilia charged into him with her shoulder. Reyol vomited blood as his ribs shattered from the impact.

Grabbing his face Tilia slammed him onto the ground, cracks spread across the manor floor. Lifting her hand she curled it into a fist and punched downwards. Yet despite his injuries Reyol slipped away right before he was struck!

"Aaaah~!!"

A crazed scream came from above, Tilia turned and saw Reyol descending towards her.

Crckk-

Before Reyol was able to when injure her, Tilia punched his jaw. A sickening crunch was heard as Reyol turned limp. His body hit the floor and slid slightly before stopping. Tilia was spammed with several system notifications, but she paid more attention to the Lord.

Lord June was cowering in fear, desperately calling for help. The same help that would never arrive.

Tilia walked over to Lord June, each of her steps seemed to ring in his mind. Growing louder and louder, pushing his sanity to the brink.

She spoke in a low tone, "Now. . ."
