Chapter 1: Death
Somewhere in earth lives a certain person.
Hades, 23 years old, a man of sloth and misfortune, finds himself looking at the sun.
Hades wondered why it was so hot, but with that thing up in the sky, it made sense.
The 'sun' that he was looking at seems too close, too big, for it covered the entirety of the sky.
'hmm... that's why its so hot...' Hades thought as he stared at the blazing sky.
No, it was a meteor. A meteor too big, covering miles after miles with everyone trying to run out of its range.
A pointless struggle.
'What are they doing... That thing should be enough to cover the entire country...' Hades wondered as he watched everyone struggling to evade a meteor that literally overshadowed the whole country.
Strange enough, he was still calm, and if you wonder why...
"Forget about the meteor, I cant even get out of here..."
Hades is currently stuck in a manhole. Though unfortunate, he should've been able to free himself quickly. He always experience misfortune anywhere he goes, and getting stuck in a manhole is a common thing to him.
He had accumulated knowledge and experience from his daily manhole problems, making him a manhole expert. However, this time, no matter how much he tried, he couldn't free himself from the hole's binding.
..And that's why he's confident.
'Unlucky as I may be, my misfortune has never let me down... not yet, at least...'
Hades had been in many dangerous situations before, all caused by his misfortune, but he had always come out alive in every situation...
"Yes... That's right. It'll be fine..."
Truth is, he's just lazy.
'I cant get out of this sh*t anyways, so... Let's just wait...'
Unlike others, he did not struggle...
..But his situation did not improve either.

Time passed, and Hades could now see the meteor up close, giving him a second thoughts.
'That thing's getting too close... Dangerously close... Maybe its not safe after all?'
With that in mind, he realized the reality of the situation.
As soon as he did, he quickly tried to free himself out of the manhole.
Something which he should've done long ago.
To his suprise, he freed himself quite quickly. Unfortunately, without him knowing, his pants got stucked and hooked onto something. Which caused his pants to slide down the manhole as he pushed himself up, leaving him with only his underware.
"Well, no one's around anyway...and considering my luck, this is pretty cheap...'
With both his feet free,
But before he could take a single step, a shining blue circle appeared under his feet, restricting his movements.
'Ehh...?'

In the Kingdom of Debel.
A gigantic magic circle shone on the floor with golden glow.
Standing right beside it was a woman in a white robe. As the graceful light brightened further, the woman looked back and spoke.
"Princess, the ritual is done. The heroes should be here anytime soon." the woman stated.
"I see." said the princess.
They stood in waiting, fixing themselves, trying to make a good impression to their soon-to-be saviors.
The next instant, the golden circle's glow reached its peak. and 4 people appeared. One with a sword, one with a spear, and the other 2 held a staff. One which was made of wood, while the other was made of pure gold.
The princess smiled as she stepped forward, ready to give her greeting and plea. It was then that she saw the one holding a sword... Hades, in his underware.
"KYAAAA!!!!""
With a mighty scream, her palms shone in emerald glow. Soon after, a strong gush of wind blew the half-naked man out of the tower...
..Having the unfortunate hero fall to his death.

BlueVeil I've fix... or edited this one. The writing quality is so bad that it felt too embarrassing to leave it as it is. I almost deleted this whole novel, but since its my first work, I shall spare it.
