Chapter 1: Prologue
Theories about the world are common, some say our world was made to support us humans. The reality is much grimmer.
"The world you know, revolves around you."
As the god I once worshiped stares at the people around me with a stare that can only be akin to the blaze of the sun, I can't help but look at the people around me. Some familiar, some unknown.
"The heroes of the earth!"
Those of the former, the people I should know. They aren't themselves. Some seem to have lived the life I've lived, with the clothes I have worn.
"One can only be the best."
Their eyes are the same glowing orange as mine, further intensified by the glowing figure hovering above us.
"The game to decide your Earth's faith is about to begin,"
The glare was finally too intense to ignore, forcing me to look up at God.
"It would be best if you paid attention."
