Chapter 4: Chapter 3
We decided to ride off with Taxi, as the town is only a few blocks away I'm sure a taxi would do it. I was still in shock when we encountered that Monster, unfortunately.. The Bus driver died. He didn't survived the damages that The Demon conflicted on his body, the doctor said the spine is what did the most damage ending up killing him in the end.
But thank god that Demon is now burning through Hell right now. But, I shouldn't forgot about that the Demon who possessed that Bus Driver is indeed going after me, instead of the people inside.
Someone must have ordered that damn Demon to possessed an innocent man, to kill me. I was always aware of the consequences of my future when I found out that I am the Next Hell Saint of my Bloodline, but I'm not ready yet. I'm still weak, Uncle Ed may have teach me some spells that I could use for protection but.. That's it. Defensive spells is what he taught me.
"Uncle.." I looked over to my right and looks at him in the eyes..
"Are they going to be more of them, when we arrived at Dawnburry uncle?" I asked as I stare into his eyes directly. Waiting for a proper answer, he closes his eyes out of respect and doubt.
"I don't think lying to you would help it, but.. Yes there will be. But I promise to you, Lewis. Whoever comes.. I'll have no choice but to kill that demon for you. When my brother died I knew the part of protecting you is now my new goal for my entire life after that night. And whatever it takes, I will do it until the last of breath of mine, kid. For our Family, and for you." Uncle Ed replies back with such braveness and yet I could still a loving uncle in his eyes.
"Thank you, uncle.. For my entire life you're always there on my side looking out for me, even if you it means your life. I wish I could repay all of those things that you've done to me in the past. Thanks, Uncle." I looked at him with the same respect that I saw on his eyes. And I nod my head to him, out of respect.
And after 12 minutes we finally made it in.. To Dawnburry. My emotions are mixed, as I don't know how I should feel right now, since I saw that demon possession earlier in the bus. Excitement and Fear is what I feel right now. It was already 11:00 PM in the Night. Everybody is sleeping.
The small suburban houses are lighted in dark. Some of them are still awake I could tell by the lights on their bedroom and in the kitchen. It was more quiet than I thought it would be, well its 11:00 PM right now. So I couldn't really tell.
The lights on the poles on the streets are on, some of them doesn't work tho. Although the street is pretty lighted well, as long as the driver sees the road properly we wouldn't be in any trouble. I was also surprised how many trees in this town.
Trees that are taller than the houses. And some of them even build a small tree house on the top, maybe for kids to play. But I'm not really into that anymore, I've grown mature since I turned 18 typical childish stuff doesn't enjoy me anymore. As all thing should be I guess when you've grown up.
And yet as we go further into the town, I could feel a strange aura around the town as if there's an unknown forces and old memories that flashes down into my head like a camera. Its like I've been here before.
"Welcome to Dawnburry, Lewis." Uncle Ed says to me, whilst I look out of the window to see around the town.
"Wow it's more beautiful than I thought it would be, uncle. Maybe I would've seen better if its daytime tho." I replied as my eyes follows each houses we go by every seconds.
"Well we could walk around the town tomorrow, if you want to." Said Uncle Ed.
"Sure why not." I answered back immediately. The Aura that I'm feeling right now is getting stronger and stronger as we go by. As if I'm close to something, something that I haven't seen before. I am worried right now.
"Just stop by that house over there, sir." Uncle Ed says to the Taxi Drive as he gives him a small tip as I carry his bag and mine outside of the taxi.
The Taxi immediately leaves as we left the taxi, I think he could be scared right now. Although not as strange the driver we've encountered before in that bus. I think this Taxi Driver is legitimately scared right now. Mmmhh.. I know why.
I turn my head around to see the house. It was perfect.. Not that big, and yet not that small either. It looks perfect for me. And I'm pretty sure my Uncle likes it to, I mean he's the one who picked the house. But still I like it. I really really liked it a lot.
"Don't worry, son. This isn't the same house where your parents used to live. Its pretty far off actually. But I don't want you to live the same house where you know.."
"-Where my parents died?" I replied adding more to what he said to me. My uncle felt a hint of sadness through my voice as he said those words to him. Even though I wasn't quite that close to my parents like i am with my Uncle.
I am still sad to acknowledge their deaths, after all they're still my parents. They died protecting me as a baby. And I respect them.. More than anyone I knew excel except for my Uncle. Within my Uncle's caring and loving for me its like I could feel my parents doing the same thing to me all at once.
I never knew what lies ahead as soon as I step myself into the new house right here in Dawnburry… but whatever happens I'll try my best to be the best man I could ever be. I'll make my parents proud.
