Chapter 2: Chapter 1
It was dark within the void of this world, flames rising above the the dark red skies, flying bat-winged creatures flew over my head, staring into my soul deeply with there raging crimson eyes of evil. I could sense all the evil deeds within their souls when they flew over me.
When I step my foot into this world, using my strange powers that I learned from my Uncle who has the same powers as mine. At first I couldn't understand what I'm seeing around me, the smell was awful, the ground was flaming hot.
I am surrounded by this chained Humanoid creatures all in some kind of a long and endless line of other Humanoid creatures. Terrifying screams of agony, distracted me for the whole time I wasn't sure whom one of these chained Creatures are the ones screaming or is it just the sound of Hell when you enter it. I wasn't sure..
And as I was about to open my eyes, a strange Man in Black interrupted my awakening in the real world. I couldn't open my eyes when he appears in front of me. The Stranger wears black pants, dark long curly hair, thick and very messy in which covers his eyes, he wears a some kind of a top-hat in his head.
He looks like a rock-star to me, and he stands in front of me as if he's waiting for my next move. But I couldn't move, my body won't allow to move my muscles thus basically freezing my body in Hell. But suddenly, he walks towards me, slowly and slowly. I could tell that his eyes are staring deeply to my eyes, with pure hatred.
Although his right hand is on his pocket. But when he's about a few meters closer to me, I suddenly wakes up from my chair, where I was sitting in the real world. My uncle was right in front of me, staring down at me like a real father looking down at his son who he knows is in big trouble.
"What the hell are you doing, Lewis?!" He shouted at me, while I look up to him from my chair. I lowered my head down in regret and disappointment. I don't wanna disappoint my Uncle.. He is the only family I have right now. My father is dead, my mother is also dead. He is the only one who really treated me like his own son.
And I know I owe my life to him, that's why I regret using the forbidden ritual.
A ritual that would allow me to access the world of Hell under The Real World. But in a more dreaming way, they couldn't touch me or see me. But that man that I encountered, he definitely saw me down there. I don't know how he was able to do that. I haven't found any spells that can counter this ritual in Hell.
"You would've been killed down there, Lewis! Next time.. talk to me first I don't want to lose you, Lewis. So please.. don't do that again." His old man voice is starting to appear in his voice.
"I'm sorry, uncle. I promise I will never do it again. I promise." I answered back. My voice was soft, just like a true kid. He then put his palm into my hair brushing it softly with his hard hands, within his hand I could sense a true and kind father with those hand, I could feel that he really cared about me. That's why he will always be the best Uncle I ever have.
All I wish is that my father is here to do the same thing what my uncle was able to do to me after all those years. I wish, he was alive today. I really do. But right now. my Uncle still feels disappointed to me. He could angry, but I know he is only angry because if I die down there, it would be his own punishment to himself. And I don't want my Uncle to feel that.
"I am really sorry, Uncle Ed I hope you can forgive me." He suddenly hugged me tightly with his strong muscular arms of a true warrior of The Past, fighting Demons alongside his older Brother. And I felt comfortable with my Uncle.. It's like he is always right there on my corner protecting me at all cost, but it'll come the day where I have to protect myself. That's why I am still training with my Uncle until this day. Because we know that not Everytime there is always someone who would save me from trouble like I did earlier.
"Of course I can forgive, son. Always." He whispers kindly to my ears as he hugs me even tighter. And I smiled in happiness, more than what he feels right now.
"We're about to leave this place in two hours, Lewis. So I suggest you go to your room and pack your stuff. We're going to your true home, kid. I'm sure you'd like it there, promise." Said My Uncle as he gets up from his feet.
I immediately ran upstairs of the house to get my stuff, because I was excited at that time. I really wanted to see what Dawnburry looks like. My uncle told to me that it's always been a quite Town, no fights on the streets. Only peaceful people living along in Dawnburry.
But I wanted to FEEL it and SEE it with my own eyes. He also said that it's the most beautiful place in his whole life when I was a little, I was so excited when I heard that. And so I requested to my Uncle that we should move into Dawnburry. Where my parents used to live.
Although the town is big they are only few people living in that town, I searched online to see how many people lives in Dawnburry and I found out that there's only 8000 people living there. I was shocked. And I also heard about rumours of Supernatural acts in that town.. several teenage girls with the same age of 18 to 19.
I was pretty interested about that, but for the sake of my Uncle I wouldn't investigate it for him. It could be dangerous and I just want a normal life.. without having to do Demon hunting stuff just like what my father used to do when he's still alive. I admired my father, but I don't wanted to become like him.
I only chose to train by my Uncle to protect myself from harm. But if I see an innocent person who needs my help, then I would take no hesitation of helping. Even if I revealed my powers to that person, I would still help them. But right now, no one currently knows about my secret. It's only between me and my uncle who knows about the truth about my powers and my Bloodline.
But as soon as I arrived to Dawnburry I'll make sure to keep my own secret to myself. Even if I make new friends there, I wouldn't say anything to them. For the sake of my family and to my Uncle. I will Never..
I don't know what kind of life is waiting for me beyond this road.. What does my future looks like in Dawnburry would it be the same as I wished it to be? Or would it be different than I expected my life to be there..
