Destiny's POV

I threw my phone on the bed after I turned it off. I was holding onto it for, I don't know how long as I reread the message. Could it be Carmen or Carmie?

They want me dead, and they are coming for me. I was having a panic attack, and Red was not around. I was about to go to bed when there was a knock on my door.

"Are you still awake, Destiny?" I heard Alex's voice behind the door.

"Yeah, come in," I answered as I turned to face the door, glad there was someone I could talk to to channel my fear.

"You looked pale. Are you okay?" He asked after he opened the door.

"Yes, of course," I lied as I smiled at him.

"What can I do for you, Alex?" I asked.

"Well, I felt guilty I didn't tell you something," he responded, avoiding my gaze as I raised my eyebrows since I had no idea what he was talking about.

"About what?" I asked.
