Chapter 97: Calling off the engagement

"Tyler, I'm sorry. Please, listen to me. Please…" Iris pulled on Tyler's sleeves when they entered the living room of Tyler's mansion. 

She knew what she did seemed as though she didn't care about him, but that wasn't the case. She felt she was out of options at that moment. 

Tyler was the one person on her mind when she took the final dive, and all she could pray for was that the heavens should guide him on the right track, so that he would make the right choices to protect the world from harm. 

Iris also prayed for her fiance to find a good woman who would help him forget her loss in his life. It was a difficult prayer, but it was all she could wish for her husband - that he found another woman who would keep him company. The man who gave her the best of everything had to get the best from the universe as well.
