At three in the morning, the whole island was engulfed in an eerie silence. The moonlight fell silently, seeping through the screen and casting a hazy pattern on the bed.

On the bed, Princess Randa's face sported an unnatural flush. She subconsciously groped at her nightgown and rolled restlessly on the bed.

At some point, the two guards at the door had collapsed onto the floor. At the end of the corridor, a faint tap of footsteps echoed. As the motion-sensitive lights blinked on and off, a figure clad in a white robe slowly approached.

The man stood at the entrance of the room, adjusted his hat with a lift of his hand, and pushed open the room door with a smile.

After he entered, the two guards lying on the ground were taken away, and two more took their place at the door.

Inside the room, Prince Jonathan watched the woman on the bed, her clothes disarrayed and her face flush, irresistibly reaching out to touch her cheek.

"Your Highness, you are truly beautiful," he murmured.
