High in the heavens of Semsara resides the home of the gods. In the Etherial Coliseum where no mortal has ever stepped foot, the gods watch over all of Semsara to guide their children in the ideals they saw fit for them to thrive.
In the great hall the gods sit and discuss how the people of Semsara are to be, all within civil tones, however today is different. Heated arguments fill the halls as insult after insult are thrown around the room. Physical brawls have begun to erupt amongst each set of gods as everyone is forced to be heard.
"The Libran people are taking too much power for themselves while claiming to be keepers of the peace!" A naturally hooded figure asserted from a distance. Eyes of Libra, Leo and Aries fall upon the figure as the hood falls ack and reveals Scorpio. "You claim to want peace for all the people yet you allow your children to pass judgment on others with being held accountable for their own actions." "The Libran people were decided to be the judicator of our world because of our ability to make the difficult decisions based on evidence provided to be fair to everyone in the world. This was decided 10 millennia ago in which you did side with the decision Queen Scorpio. What has changed your decision?"
A look of surprise from the other gods at her response washed over their faces as she prepares to answer. "The Libran nation is not all high and mighty as they have made themselves out to be. They have their corruptions and scandals as bad as the next nation, however they are just better at hiding it from the rest of the world. I feel a new change of judication should be made in Semsara and I elect my vote to the Cancerians and the Cancerian King." Gasps and rumbles of disapproval from some of the other gods escape their mouths.
"If a change of judicaton is felt to be required then maybe we should place this to a vote." The Libra god looked around to see nods of approval from most of the rest of the gods. Libra knew he had the support of his queen, Aries, Leo and Sagittarius, however he was unsure of the rest. The rest of the uncertainty was how and why the Cancarians and Scorpios formed their alliance to speak with the rest of the council. They have never been known to side with each other in the past, so why now?
"Let us take a few moments to collect ourselves before this vote. Each side will be allowed to present their case and then the rest of us will vote. As always in order for the vote to overturn the current ruling the winner must receive 2/3 of all the votes." Everyone nods as they begin to clear the great hall. The tables and walls begin to change and move to make a presentation style stage so each god may argue their case to have themselves and their people as the judicatory of Semsara.
In a rush the Libran king returned to his quarters to speak with his queen followed by the Leo gods. "What was that in there?!" Surprised himself Leo follows, "I wish I knew. I have never known Cancer and Scorpio to ever be on the same page, let alone vouch for each other." As they enter the Libra living area the Libra queen greeted her king with a loving embrace, "I heard what happened at the council meeting, what is happening?" "We will be having a tribunal to find out who will be the judication race of Semsara." Said Libra as he began to prepare for his presentation to the others. "I feel that Queen Scorpio has been trying to gain support for some time to prepare for this moment. The problem is trying to figure out her end game. I will check with some of the others to see just how far her influence has spread." Leo said confidently as he headed for the door. "Thank you my friend, I will see you in the great hall." Libra and Leo salute each other as Leo leaves.
"Why do you think Scorpio is doing this? What is her endgame do you think?" Queen Libra said as she sat down to help her King, "I wish I knew. Unfortunately she has been operating without a lot of people knowing, but also something tells me this could be a ruse. Something big is coming and I can feel it, I just do not know what. Only time will show her hand and we need to be ready."
A few hours pass and everyone has gathered in the great hall ready to hear each of the presentations prepared by Libra and Scorpio to the council of gods to decide who will be given judicatorship of Semsara and it's people. All gods paired with their spouse in thrones that line the stage. By popular decision King Leo was asked to act as Master of Ceremonies of the presentation, which disappointed Libra as he was counting on his vote, but no matter, he was confident that his presentation would win overall.
After a strong debate between both parties the vote of judicatorship came down in the Libran favor in a 6 to 3 split. Congratulation was in a small roar in the great hall as Libra rejoiced in the decision of his peers to allow him and his children to remain in their position. However in the shadow of celebration lay disappointment and vengeance.
In the viewing room during the mix of celebration stand Cancer, Scorpio and Taurus. Looking deep into the tables focus and seeing their nation people. "Soon my children. Soon Semsara will be ours." The Cancerian looked across the table to Scorpio and nodded, then Scorpio looks across the table to Taurus and nodded as all three reached out their hands and dropped a small scroll onto the table which then disappears into the tables focus and materializes on the table of the Cancerian Generals desk. King Cancer then looks over to the others as their scrolls appear on the desk of their respective nations military leaders. "Now we wait. Our plan is now in motion." The three gods leave the viewing room and head back to the celebration to their queens as to not arouse suspicion to the others.
Off in the distance down the corridor a tall hooded figured watches the three leave the room in the shadows undetected. The figured retreats to the structures dungeon corridors to a dark, stone walled room with nothing but a mirror in a basic wooden frame. Reflected in the mirror is a Libran style face with a Virgos complexion and the eyes of a Leo as he speaks into the mirror, "It has begun." A similar figure in the mirror nods and walks away from the mirror. The hooded figure turn and then proceeds to the darkest corner of the room where a single candle in a candle holder sits on a low table and padded cushion while the candle flickers wildly. He then kneels down on the cushion, closes his eyes and begins to slip into deep meditation.
Just then the door opens slightly and in comes a dark hooded female figure, closing the door behind her and looks over to the corner where the candle flickers and begins to say, "They have no idea what the Cancerians have planned." Opening his eyes and looking to her, "As they will never know until it is too late. But it is not our place to interfere with the will of the gods." As he closes his eyes and refocuses on his vision, "We will bide our time. When the time is right we will present ourselves the the gods and take our rightful place amongst them."
