Chapter 66: WARNING: MANA IS OFF THE MENU!

Ravan sat in the dimly lit cavern, his back against the cool stone wall, contemplating his next move.

He'd been through a lot in these underground tunnels, from battling strange beasts to discovering the power of the Eye of Combustion.

It was a strange, sometimes terrifying journey, but the discovery of his new skill had added a fascinating twist to it all.

The system had informed him earlier that the Eye of Combustion would become more powerful with each use, leveling up and causing greater damage.

That was both exciting and daunting.

"Just like a muscle," Ravan mused aloud, "the more I use it, the stronger it gets. But unlike a muscle, it's going to demand a lot more fuel."

He leaned back, closing his eyes for a moment.

The darkness behind his eyelids was comforting, but it also reminded him of how vital it was to keep the Eye's power in check.

"This is going to require a lot of vitality," he murmured.
