Chapter 51: to be

WITHOUT WASTING A SECOND OF HER TIME OF ESCAPE, she runs out of the club, jumping over the bodies.

When she tries to walk past the doors while running, the guards stop her and hold her in place but she fights to get out of their strong grip.

"Miss, is everything okay?"

She continues struggling to get out of their grasp, knowing fully the kind of danger that is coming after her if she keeps standing there. If this is to be a problem a human can handle, she will have hidden behind these huge, bulky men but it isn't.

Suddenly, the eyes of the two men roll to the back of their head and they fall to the ground, causing Aubrey to let out a piercing scream.

She dares not turn around to see what made them fall to the ground that way.
