Chapter 41: around you

STARING AT THE ASPHALT ROADS, a solution comes to mind but while cooking up the solution, she doesn't take into consideration the fact that she has a purpose on earth or the fact that she has a brother waiting for her at home, neither does she think of her parents.

The only thing on her mind is how easy it would be to stop all of this by standing in the middle of the road.

Does she want it to end? Yes, and she can do something about it.

When the road sign turns red and once every other person stops walking, Aubrey can be seen moving across the road. Other passers-by, waiting to cross the road try calling her back but Aubrey is ready to die.

After all, her life has been hard since she was a kid and living on with crazy, irrational gods, would only make her life worse.

She wants to die.

A car passes by her left, she sucks in her last breath, holding it in as she gets ready for the impact.
