"I knew something was wrong," Evangelina expressed but just as quickly as the weight settled in her words, she shook it off, returning to her previous jungle tales. She felt a pang of empathy for Gabriella but she chooses to let the conversation about Erwan's betrayal flew away. If there was one thing she knew about pain, especially those that are slowly healing—it should not be scratched.

Moments later, the wedding venue swarmed with guests, making it impossible for the two sisters to remain unnoticed in the bustling crowd. They lingered on the sidelines though, avoiding any unnecessary attention. However, despite their efforts, they couldn't escape the curious glances and hushed whispers that followed them.

"Is she the current one?" the whispers floated nearby.

"They say she's El Tigre's current..." Gabriella winced at the mention of Primo "...woman."
