Chapter 23: My love for you is till eternity
After Luo Li left, Meng Xiao got into action. Like a quiet mouse, she left the compound and as a slithering snake, she dodges the guard's watchful eyes.
As meng xiao came out of the compound, she quickly made her way to the market.
"Firstly, I will head to the auction house to exchange the treasures I got from my last trip" meng xiao thought inwardly as she put her photographic memory into action, she quickly remembered the road leading to the auction.
Even though it is already night, the market is buzzing with lights and the street is full of people.
Looking at the streets Meng Xiao could not help but remember her happy memory.
It was of her and her lover.

"Su Yunluo don't be in a hurry, I have already promised to bring you to the market for sightseeing I am just busy now," Ye Wan said looking at her as she drags him to follow her.
"This is our first date so how can you be busy? Leave it alone you will come back for it" meng xiao urged frustratingly.
"Or, do you not love me anymore," su yunluo said looking at ye wan with puppy dog eyes.
"How can I say no to those eyes, prepare we are going to the market and our first date must be marked with an unforgettable memory," ye wan said as he rubbed su yunluo head like a pet.
Ye wan who is as handsome as a fallen god with jade green eyes a handsome and well-built physique, a charming face that draws attention and admiration from the ladies, a crescent moon full and dark eyebrows.
Su Yunluo also wasn't lacking in beauty, she is dressed to kill. Wearing a red phoenix gown with a matching gold phoenix hairpin, and crimson-red eyes. Her appearance appears stunning and eye-catching and the men in the market appear to be captivated by her beauty.
The two couples catch everyone's attention, anywhere they went both men and women look fascinated.
"They both look like pairs made in heaven
Even though they were both powerful cultivators, they enjoy a simple love life.
As they made their way into the market, the bright shiny stars and the full moon brought the two couples together as they enjoy the cold night breeze that swept their hair into the air. Fireworks and the acrobatics displayed by an entertainer caught su yunluo's attention.
"Please let's just spend some time watching the show" su yunluo begged.
"I told you tonight is our first date so I will do anything to satisfy you. Let's watch for some time" Ye Wan said sounding like a caring man.
Their actions looks so mesmerizing that the lookers gave a loud"aw"
They continue enjoying themselves surrounded by love which kept them company.
"Let's make an oath" Ye Wan proposed.
"About what?" Su Yunluo asked.
"Of our love for each other" ye want to answer as he brings his little finger.
Seeing his childish action, su yunluo couldn't help but giggle.
"I ye wan promise you to always love you both in life and death. I promise to always be with you till we grow old. We are going to have kids together my love" ye wan said.
"I su yunluo also promise to love you till eternity, to always stand by your side even if it means death. My love for you is till eternity" su yunluo said looking straight into his eyes.
"So we both make an oath under the night sky and let the moon and the stars be our witness," ye wan said as he kissed her.
"Awwwwwwwwwwww" a noise of joy resounded. The market watched as the lovers kissed themselves. They both looked too perfect for this world and looked like they are the handwork of a skilled painter.
"I am so happy, I promise to love you" su yunluo said amiss the kiss.
It was a long-lasting kiss but to them, it feels so short.
"I am so happy for them. I have decided to also find my true love tonight" a female voice sounded in the crowd.
"You said we are going to have kids, I am afraid you will not love me after I get fat due to pregnancy" zu yunluo complained.
"My love for you is everlasting no matter how you look, to me you are my beautiful su yunluo and nothing can change the fact. We are going to grow old together and have our kids" ye wan said assuring her as he gave her a peck on her lips.
It is only a pity that the lovers did not get their promise fulfilled as they both died prematurely death under the hands of the devils.
*******End of flashback and back to the real moment******
Meng Xiao stood rooted to the floor with a dazed expression. She looks like someone whose spirit has wandered off.
"You have a deep past that haunts you, you need to let go or else it will be a hindrance to your future path of cultivation" The icy cold voice sounded like an alarm bringing meng xiao back to reality.
"You need to forget your past life and start afresh. The heavens gave you a second chance make good use of it" the devil's cold voice said again.
"You can see the memories of my past life, how do you expect me to forget him" meng xiao said as tears falls freely from her eyes.
"You have to let go," the voice said without any sympathy for the love-struck woman.
"Meng Xiao who finds a good dark spot went there and cried her eyes out mourning the death of her lover.
"In this new life, I promise to protect the ones who are dearest to me. I have to be strong and not let myself get shaken by emotions"meng xiao said as she wipe her eyes drying her tears.
"That the mindset to the strong" the devil's cold voice said again.
After some time meng xiao came out of her dark spot looking refreshed," it is good to cry, I have washed from the past and set a course to the future"
