Just like that Baro died, but he did not turn into qi. Which was quite startling to Taf. What he also found odd was Baro's last choice of words. Of all those he had killed in battle only one last words stuck with him, the sociopath Benzalo, "It's just business". But this would definitely be a close second, there was no begging for mercy, just acceptance and happiness as though this was what he longed for.
What he found even more strange was Taf swore that he had seen Baro in the flashbacks when bonding with the scythe, and unlike Zacarro he was actually a participant. He was quite older but the resemblance was uncanny. It made Taf take a moment to think about his enemies and their true role in this land of purgatory.
I'm back. Lost my mojo for a while with all the other projects I have on my plate currently but I'm all good now and can finally get back to it. I've even gone a step further and started a new book to inspire me, it will be entered into the spirit awards. Slightly different genre and modern, but the same awesome read.
I Will start updating next week Monday.
Creation is hard, cheer me up!
