Chapter 144: No Remorse

Taf's eyes burnt with a yearning for the chance to face this new impending hurdle. He doused these thoughts however as he knew there was a need to inform the three squads of what was to come.

The prospects of challenging someone above his level excited him but would this be the case for the others? In a sense, he had an idea what their responses might be,however, there was a need to inform them nonetheless.

He then turned the chair around facing the three squad leaders. Of the three both Malnor and Ava were debating what their next possible move might be. After all, one of their members was killed. Surely there was a need to find a means to provide justice.

 New to the conversation, the first voice Taf heard was Ava's saying, " My suggestion is this, let our three squads each scatter to the perimeters highlighted on the map previously given by the City Lord.
