Chapter 12: Patience

Fay finally broke the gaze with excitement crawling into her mind. Her heart began to thump as a smile found it's way to her face.

'Too Strong!'

Meng on the other hand looked at Luke with interest as her eyes fell upon the ring on his finger. Her eyes were glued unto the ring as she immediately recognised it in mere moments.

Dragon!!!

"Meng, do you think he could beat me?" Fay asked while tugging onto Meng's dress slightly.

"I don't know..." Meng uttered, but seeing the ring on the elven prince's finger made her shudder.

Luke and his father were escorted back to the human king's castle where they were supposed to have a meeting with the other kingdoms. Luke met with various people on the way, all of them were likely half-human or a completely different race who signed the peace contract.

Luke was taken to the royal guest room where he felt something wrong. The room was too big for a four year old and there was slight ripples in the air waves.

<Invisibility>!

Luke sneered inwardly before walking forward as if he knew nothing. He walked up to the bed which was about six yards away from the door.

Want to sneak attack on me? Your must have the blessing of heaven to do that successfully!

Internal To External - Chaotic Explosion!

Luke's eyes forcefully contracted as his energy explosively erupted, sending a visible ripple in the room that instantly made Fay's form flicker before Luke.

Dare to attack me slyly?! Impossible!

Luke suddenly felt something coming straight at his face, then, surprisingly tilts his head to the side. Unleashing his strength, Luke ruthlessly made downward slash.

Too Quick!

<Eyes Of Chaos>!

He closed his eyes and focused his energy to his eyes before shooting them open. His heart raced as he began to move unnaturally, his figure left afterimages as he dodged every lethal blow dealt by Fay.

'How~?' Fay clawed at nothingness frustratingly as she looked at Luke who calmly stood with his hands behind his back.

Pro-Provocation!!!

Fay roared in fury as the air around her turned wild, cutting anything on it's path. Her eyes locked on Luke who calmly points at her and beacons 'come' with his index finger.

Luke's <Eyes Of Chaos> were just too overpowered for Fay. He was able to see slightly into the future, rendering her sneak attacks useless against him.

Fay on the other hand had turned mad with anger! She hadn't even struck the elven boy right from the beginning. The most frightening was that it seemed like he always knew what she was about to do next!!!

'I must finish this!' Luke thought as he suddenly dashed forward and used the bottom of his sword to whack the air.

Fay saw a flash of black before she suddenly dropped to the ground, as her skill was dispelled.

[Mission Completed!]

[Advanced Attribute - Celestial Grace]

Luke sighed as he looked at the unconscious young woman laying on the ground. He suddenly carried her in his arms and took her to the red fairy he had saw earlier.

'Lucky...lucky.' Luke thought as he heaved a sigh of relief. He slowly dropped Fay down and looked up to the shocked fairy.

Luckily for him, it was only the fairy here or else things would have been blown out of proportion. He could imagine his own father ranting on about his victory for days.

"Is she okay?" Meng asked politely as she floats down to Fay and placed her hands on the princess's head.

A dim green glow spread out from the tip of her fingers and spread around Fay's face. After some seconds, her brows twitched as she let out a groan.

"Phew, That was close..." Luke said as he turned to leave. He wasn't really happy staying with someone who could attack him in his own room.

Fay's eyes fluttered open to meet Luke's disappearing back as a sense of shock and admiration filled her face. She wanted to run after him, but after recounting what happened, she restrained herself.

"Meng, have you ever felt excitement after being subdued by a strange man?"

Meng smiled as she flew up into the air and snapped her fingers before flying back down to Fay and looking her into the eyes. Suddenly she parted her lips and began to speak:

"Since the day I was conquered by chocolate, I have never experienced the strange feeling called love, my Fay."

Love? Isn't that too much? What I think I feel right now is giving him a beat down next time!

Fay smiled as she and her companion walked into the kitchen – their heaven, and there the red haired ladies ate till they couldn't even utter another word.

While Luke on the other hand was quietly meditating while thinking back to the fight in the room. A smile etched it's way to his face as he kept thinking about the red haired human princess.

'Fay.'

In a castle far into the north, a black haired man was sitting in a meditative pose with demonic energy continuously pouring out of his soul. Suddenly he slammed his fist against the ground as his demonic black eyes shot open.

Two children who were just slightly older than Fay ran into the room almost instantly. They were identical twins and had reverse abilities, they also had a dormant abyssal bloodline...

Gemini.

Under the graceful glow of the moonlight, the two kids each bowed before their father, partially revealing their faces. The both of them were completely alike except from the halved crystal upon their forehead.

Fire and Ice - The Twins:

Legendary Heirs To The Demon Throne!

It was said that the twins whose bloodline existed for generations had the frightening ability to merge into one. Once the merge was completed, they would have devastating powers that would rival that of the gods.

"My son and daughter, we have been in hiding for too long! The forces of Order have gathered together to form and alliance and the forces of chaos have collapsed. We shall not wait any longer, we should strike now!" The man roared in a booming voice as his energy grew fierce and wild, but the two children seemed unaffected.

Suddenly, time and space collapsed as the twins seemed distort before the eyes of their father. In a voice no being beneath them had ever dreamed to hear, the both of them spoke in perfect sync:

"We shall not move until we are at peak strength. The eternal night shall claim the light, he that is chaos shall take his flight. Until then, we, the forces of chaos shall wait until he has risen."

The man seemed completely frightened as he heard the words. His heart slowed to a snails crawl as he silently nodded his head without saying much.

He understood what must be done, and he must execute patience. Chaos is born, he must wait for it to to grow, and then...

Eternal Night!

No being will escape the darkness he shall bring!

Waiting for fifty more years is the least he could do to execute his revenge upon the gods...

Patience.
