Chapter 43: Luke Laughs So Hard His Teeth Falls Off

Slash! Slash! Slash! 

 'What the hell did she do now?' X1 thought as she nimbly evaded the ferocious line of red light that chopped towards her. Her eyes were laden with shock and confusion. 

 Since when were elves so bold that they attacked a Metal Spirit without good reason? First that Luke and now this petty little girl? 

 If X1 does not show her strength, maybe even the humans would begin to take her for granted! 

 With this, X1 charged into battle with a vast coldness in her eyes. She was now prepared to beat the Mortal before her to a pulp! 

 Suddenly, X1's dull metallic skin suddenly shone in a bright silver hue as a halo of silver appeared around her. This halo completely nagated all of Laura's axe attacks. 

 Everytime Laura's energy shot out of her axe in a straight red line of light and collided with X1's new and profound aura, a clear metallic sound would ring out and the line would be shattered like glass.
