"He is just naive sir. Blinding him and burning the journal should suffice." Majdar understood the mistakes his old student made. Mistakes worth death, but being a Radiant Knight, Majdar can't force himself to do such a thing. Even if it was the request of the existence like the one before him. 

But the man didn't budge an inch, he just gave a deep look at Majdar, causing the old man to drop his head down in shame. "If he were to know that your old student dragged the chosen to her death with his request, do you know what would happen to either of us?" 

"Someone needs to fall, and I would very much prefer if that someone is not one of us." At those words, Majdar sighed and nodded in the end.

He is not going to do it all personally, he is not cruel enough to face his student during his last moments. But he can give a helping hand, and after nodding multiple times, as if he assure himself that he can do it, Majdar left the scene.
