Chapter 206: Damon F**cking Steel (2)

Unlike other celebrations, Damon usually left within a few hours after making his presence known. He didn't like leaving his pack; although it was the strongest and most guarded, he always felt his sense of duty. Without a Luna and its Alpha out of the territory, it makes the pack weaker. But he decided to stay the night at the White Sands pack, accepting the initial invitation, much to Alpha Ethan's delight.

Something was keeping him at the pack, no someone. Luna Esme. Damon had the unpleasant feeling, a sense that not everything was right between the newly celebrated mated pair. There was no evidence, and from what he'd observed of the pack, they didn't show any signs of agitation. Typically, whether a pack liked their new Luna or not, if there was some mistreatment from the Alpha, the pack members showed signs of distress. They were ever so subtle signs but signs all the same.
