The soft wind blew inside the quiet room. There was a fresh smell of old books. The shelves were filled with various books and there wasn't even a single book that Byun Ye Ji hadn't read.
In her 21 years of life in this world she completed every book in those shelves. These books were her escape from the real world.
The world that she wanted to have no connection. The world filled with two headed snakes. The world that would just hurt her.
"Miss! I brought lunch!" a maid called her walking in with tray full of appetizing foods.
She looked in her mid-30s and wore a black standard maid uniform. She was atleast 5 feet tall but her shoes added 2 inch in her height. She had strawberry blonde hair that was tied in a high bun, freckles covered her face and her dark brown eyes were shining with curiosity.
"Miss! Don't worry! It me! Maria!" she called out for her young miss again.
"Maria?" a soft voice spoke from the last shelf of the room.
Maria kept the tray filled with food on the table close to the opened window.
She smiled an walked towards the last shelf. There she was.
Byun Ye Ji.
The 21 year old stood there checking a book. She had long messy pitch-black hair with messy bangs which reached right above her eyes. She had milk fair skin which glowed under the sun. Her stormy grey eyes were like dark clouds filled with sorrow and sadness yet it looked dangerous. Her pink lips were sealed. She was way taller than Maria, she was around 5'7 feet and stood there looking nervous.
She was maybe the most beautiful girl that Maria had seen in her life.
"Don't worry Miss, I came alone." Maria said with a smile. She saw her young miss getting nervous and sweating.
"I'll set the table and leave." she said smiling brightly.
Ye Sil just nodded at that. Her maid set the table and then left.
She walked towards the table and sat down at the chair.
The library was right next to her bed room that was on the fourth floor. As she ate the chicken that was especially made for her she looked down the window. She could literally see everything from there.
She looked down and saw her parents laughing and talking with some servant. They were smiling and laughing.
Ye Sil never wanted anything more than that. She wanted a man. She wanted to be with someone who understands her but with her fear of people, it was car from possible for that to happen.
She quietly ate her lunch, while looking down at her parents. She was scared of them. That was the truth.
She was scared of her parents. Even though her parents loved her more than she knew but she couldn't help it. She was scared but mostly she was lonely.
She wanted to eat everyday with her parents, she wanted to talk with them freely, she wanted friends and she even wanted a man to love her.
"Why can't I be normal?" she asked herself looking down the window. She turned front and saw that book lying on the table.
The book had a purple hard cover with pink flowers design on it. In Gold Italics the title of the book was written "Waiting For You".
'It's all your fault!'
She wanted to burn the book but what was the use if it? She couldn't do anything by burning the book. The only thing she would get after burning the book was a tray full of ashes.
"I wish I didn't exist." she mummered and then laid back on the chair.
'The main leads must have been together by now. Stupid author! He gave me this stupid phobia!'
"Miss!" she heard a knock on her door. She looked up and saw Maria standing there.
"Are you done?" she asked.
Ye Ji quietly nodded and took the book on the table along with to the last shelf.
She sat down on the wooden floor and blankly stared at the book. The book that she was holding had a sweet love story and Ye Ji was a character inside that book.
