Chapter 4: Welcome to Apoca Incorporated
As the group drove they eventually set their sights on a familiar building.. Apoca Incorporated. The building stood tall with around 50 stories and even had 2 separate on site facilities.
Famine pulled into his parking spot, set the car in park and got out and spoke "come on kiddos, we sadly have a job to do" we all collectively sighed and did the same walking on the path into the building.
When they arrived at the glass door Death pulled out a solid black card and slid the card into the reader. The machine beeped twice and said aloud "Welcome back horsemen, Designation - Death" He then walked through the doors as the opened quickly followed by the rest.His eyes scanned the lobby earnestly before catching sight of his prey.
The person that caught his eye was a tall slender woman with shoulder length auburn hair and soft blue eyes.He quickly and quietly walked up behind her whispered into her ear " I know my name is Death but sometimes looking at you makes me feel alive" The woman jumped startled at this random presence until she looked up at the culprit
"Death you are an A-1 asshole ya know that"
The woman glared playfully slightly laughing at Deaths antics. He let out a mischievous chuckle and said "Well if you weren't so easy to scare i wouldn't have to be" Death flicked her on the forehead "So hows my best buddy Fate doing this morning?"
The woman known as Fate simply rolled her eyes and sighed " Oh you know the usual different universes on the brink of dying ,multiple armageddons ya know daily works" As the two played morning catch up, a pair a hands set themselves on Deaths shoulders "Not to interrupt your morning flirting little brother" came the voice of War "But we have a bit of a job to do no?" Death shook off his brothers hands and nodded
"Fine fine , I'll talk to ya later Fate" He waved goodbye to his friend and walked with War to the others "Alright" he said confidently "Where to today ?"
