Synopsis
After the Gods of Time, Nature and the Elements created this world, they took a rest under the shade of a tree they created. Thanking their creation for helping them back with its shade, they gave the tree sentience, blessed him and called him a friend.
Now the Gods are half-asleep, content with only watching. The world has breathed for millenia, and the blessed tree still watches over the forest around himself. The world has changed and his life comes to an end, surrounded by loneliness.
Gathering what's left of his strength, he passes his torch on, in the hope of giving a last goodbye to his friends, wherever they may be and whenever they would see.
Meet and follow his first and last creation he passes his will to, a one of a kind forest spirit with... abilities (wouldn't want to spoil too much here now, would I?). Curious and cute, he will travel and meet new people, discovering the world he's in, to try and give a last goodbye to the three creation gods in his dad-tree's place.

This will be a world of humans, humanoïds, beasts, magic, and a heartwarming tale of travels across it. It won't always be butterflies, roses and friendship though, heavy moments are there too.
Also : depictions of violence, blood and gore, nudity, strong language, alcohol and other classic +17 stuff. To the reader's discretion.

I saw your comment from wholly undead and I'm just here because it intrigued me so I'm just going to give you a 5 star review so I dont forget and then I'll read the story.
Overall a really good read, and is a rare find here on Webnovel. I enjoy reading about the MC Oakbud, but I feel that the story is really about the side character Thani. It seems to me that Oakbud is a great avenue that We, the readers, use to explore the world of the story through his naivety. The story has some great moments, and the characters are likable and enjoyable. Story pacing is great, but I feel that the hype built up for one of the villains was DASHED! Overall, 10 out of 10 would read again.

A really cute novel. I love the little oak seed, he is so adubs! I want an oakbud plushie~~~! As for the story, love the world building and there is enough original ideas here that it makes me want to keep reading. No face slapping, because I'm getting real tired of that. Must read, if you like, you know, ACTUALLY original novels!!!
Nice original concept and good world development. Please the main character is adorable. There are no cliches in the book and it’s a very quirky and fun read
Good stuff, honestly, the former outpaces a majority of all original novels on this site. That alone is worthy if five stars at the point. The absolute state of this platform is mind boggling.

Heyo, author here. Surprise, no "shameless 5 star". Because I'm a student and exams are part of life and I don't write enough to stockpile chapters, I can't guarantee the stability of updates. And because I'm new to writing (first novel, yey), I can't guarantee a plot-hole-proof story. However I'll always do my best to reduce or fill them if some get pointed out.
