Chapter 1: Prologue
In the bustling metropolis of Yanjing, where skyscrapers reach for the heavens and the air is thick with ambition, Huang Rui aged 20 years(an age when most study or search for a job opportunity) stands as a titan among businessmen, one of the few who had the surpassed the Forbes list where billionaires get the support to becoming richer. Huan Rui is revered by both the youths who have traveled to Yanjing from humble beginnings to search for their fortunes and the successful businessmen. His name is whispered in awe, spoken with reverence, for he has amassed a fortune that surpasses the wildest dreams of mortals of which he earned his first million in the unpredictable stock market. Liang Cheng is hailed as a business prodigy, a man of unparalleled intelligence and strategic brilliance. His empire(conglomerate) spans continents, his investments shaping industries, economies, and each deal of his is worth billions. One single decision of his could make a flourishing business bankrupt or a struggling enterprise into a powerful force
Yet, beneath his imperial tailored suits and behind the walls of his luxurious mansion, Huan Rui carries a burden of regret that no amount of wealth can cure and something that a person of his age should never possess. This Boundless regret is bottled away and hidden away from the public, his staff, allies, and rivals as a result of his own empire and the actions he did to create this empire out of tears, sweat, and blood of both his and others. This regret is partially because he knows that in business, there is a dark side that others rarely see that he too is involved in although his vast empire excludes most illegal activities like drugs and trafficking but it would be a lie to say his hand is clean and free of other's blood which rarely or never any businessman could publicly say.
With this vast thought process running in his head contemplating his very existence Huang Rui rode in his personally remodeled Ferrari 250 GTO towards his conglomerate's HQ. One of the many part-time hobbies he did when he wasn't out earning money is car collecting, remodeling, and racing. He was quite proud of the remodeling of this special car of his. With his mind still immersed in the restless nights spent in remodeling the car he entered his HQ completely ignoring the salutes, bows, Good mornings, and flirty and admiring looks from both male and female employees that worked under him.
He hurried toward his Chairman's office with a look of anticipation and enjoyment since the 2nd most enjoyable thing that earning money was the daily report and schedule he received from his friend and PA but he did notice the atmosphere around his office was quite weird today. In an attempt to ignore the peculiar atmosphere, he asked for his report from Jack. While most CEOs preferred female PAs, Huang Rui was one of the few who preferred a male PA which made him more comfortable than the weird/ flirty look he got from females.
Jack proceeded with the daily report and schedule of which the first statement regarding the schedule that he read was "First on your schedule is an appointment with God."
Before he could question Jack, Huang Rui felt a burning Stab in his chest. When he turned his head towards Jack, he was shocked to see the smile on his face and holding a knife that was deep in his chest. He continued pulling and pushing the knife from his body while saying "Finally I can get rid of you. Can you imagine the countless moments I endured, patiently awaiting that prized signature of yours? It was only through Jennifer's persistent efforts that she managed to secure your invaluable signature worth trillions on the property transfer documents."
My body failed to respond to my orders to get up maybe due to something in the knife, or the loss of blood but mostly due to the shock of the betrayal of trust from his best friend Jack and girlfriend Jennifer who had become greedy to get the innumerable wealth possessed. All Huang Rui could manage was "Were you not satisfied with the money that I deposited in your account monthly? That is money many CEOs would kill over. I could have even given over all this money that gives me sleepless nights if both of you had just asked me."
Huang Rui's final view has his sight blurred and consciousness slowly leaves him the surprised and shocked expression that Jack wore which was evidence of his disbelief at what he heard. Huang Rui's final wish was that he could have lived regret-free life which real friends that would never betray him but support him through happiness and sorrow and maybe have money that was free of others' blood.

Huang Rui once again opened his eyes to see that he was surrounded by a vast void with the thought that he might have entered hell after all. Before he could finish his train of thought he noticed an enormous green light that enveloped his entire body/soul since he could barely see his body and he felt immense pain envelop him but he couldn't scream out his pain. Once again Huang Rui lost his consciousness.

Just to check that he wasn't still in the dream he pinched his body and felt slight pain. Huang Rui with a happy face decide to wash his face and stumbled towards the washroom and quickly washed his face without bothering to look into the mirror. At last when he did look at the mirror he was surprised to find a young 16-year-old emerald-haired kid staring back at him in the mirror
