"Thank you." I mumbled softly as I stepped out of the car. 

"You don't have to thank me for anything, Amara." Colen replied to me as he did the same. 

Was thankful to him for using my name instead of using terms of endearments. There was a time when I was fond of him using them for me, but now, they only made me cringe. I felt not only awkward listening to them even if it was just the two of us, but also uncomfortable. 

"Why shouldn't I be?" I frowned as I questioned him. I needed some information, you provided me with it. So, it's only fair that I thank you. And, you did pay for the lunch. That gives me another reason to thank you." I explained it to him politely.

"If that is how you feel, then you can do one thing in return."
