Chapter 332: Recuperation

As time passes, the scene is slowly being settled by the imperial forces. The agents captured were also led outside to the capital, awaiting their sentences. 

Other than that, the treatment for Marquis was much special, as his paralyzed body would be delivered to a secluded underground facility, never to see the light again. 

The same was true for everything that would be confiscated inside the headquarters, despite these subsequent procedures. They would still be dealing with the aftermath. 

However, at that moment, Spade only cared about someone. As the busy imperial forces left, bringing the captured agents and the marquis, they also left a rather silent yet serene background. 

Amidst the silence, two people were embracing each other tightly. Spade soothed Arren, who was now crying silently, all the emotions finally dawned on him. 

It wasn't a despairing cry either, but more of a relief. The feeling that, the nightmare had finally ended.
