Chapter 139: Prepare

Arren woke up the next day feeling refreshed, but his legs were a little sore. After all, he played around in the sea for a few hours and then swam back to the shore for almost an hour, so it wasn't surprising that his muscles were in pain. 

After blinking and being completely awake, he couldn't help but grimace as reality came back to him. While he was sleeping peacefully here, Spade might have still been searching for him. 

His guilt came back, as he knew everything that was happening was his fault. He sighed, somehow defeated. Arren, who was now having a short reflection on his misdeeds yesterday. 

How could he still be here and not have returned right away? Uh... he was definitely not hiding on purpose from the alpha to avoid the punishment, not at all.
