Chapter 245: Gift

The night turned out fine; it was amazing. Arren was truly happy and grateful to celebrate his birthday this year. After all, they have experienced a lot of things lately, and that will continue in the coming days or even months. 

To be able to celebrate his birthday with his loved ones was already enough to be thankful for. Since this day, Arren has had a different outlook on his birthdays, and he was sure not to take this day for granted again. 

Aside from the dinner and cake, they also gave him gifts. Arren wasn't really expecting much on the outside, but deeper inside, he was actually anticipating the gifts they prepared for him, as though it was his first time receiving any gift in his life. 

Still, Arren was consistent with his opinion that, when it comes to material things, he really couldn't think of what he wanted as he already had everything.
