Arren strolled cautiously to the monitor room. He always tried to be sensitive and never flirted with the alpha in front of his subordinates too much. Everyone recognized him, but that was all the more reason to behave.
All of them had been working hard with little to no rest since the war started, so he tried to be as sensitive as possible. If only he could cook for everyone as well, he would. But that wasn't something in line with his status, so Arren didn't have any opportunity to do that.
When he opened the door of the room, Arren didn't immediately go inside but peered slightly into what was happening inside, finding out if it was fine to enter and if he wasn't bothering anything.
But the moment that he did, Arren was unable to see anything as his vision was blocked by someone's chest. He stopped and slowly lifted his head, instantly making eye contact with those intimidating amber eyes, which had a soft touch whenever they gazed at him.
Hello! As always, thank you everyone for still continuing to read this book! Those who gave this book power stones, subscribing to the chapters and spending their precious coins to read my book, and even those giving me golden tickets and gifts. You're all my motivation to keep going!
Old readers and new readers, I really appreciate all of you.
I know the recent chapters are quite on the action and angst side. But I really want to balance it, you know that I always make sure to not focus heavily on the plot but give a pinch of sweetness (and spicy) on the side. (hehe)
So, please do comment on what you think so far in my book. I want to know your opinions, please? Thank you!
