Chapter 67: Tension Lingering in the Air

" Okay guys, here's the plan. Once the rest of us have gathered at the border, we'll divide into small groups and meet back here in approximately three hours." Serit announced.

" What's the distance to the base? " Payne asked.

" About 10 kilometers" Serit replied.

" How should we split up? " Vayne added, folding his arms across his chest, looking towards Serit. 

Sensing Payne's questioning stare, Serit looked at Payne and then over at Tyrone. His gaze lingered for a few seconds longer than what was necessary before he finally decided to speak up,

" Well, it's best that you all take separate groups.

We'll cover much grounds easier " Serit explained with a smile.

" Sounds good to me " Rhys chimed in cheerfully.

" Alright then, we'll split in group of twos, who wants to travel with who for now? " Serit inquired as he looked towards The group members.
