Chapter 31: Betrayal

The group continued their journey in the underground caverns as they continued their pursuit of the Serpent Buds. 

Basil carried the unconscious Rhys at his back.

After about an hour of trekking, they finally reached a place resembling a tunnel.

"Well looks like we have to go inside" Liana stated.

Everyone gathered around the tunnel's entrance.

"Liana,send someone in your group there" Anthony said.

"What?" Liana responded with a look of surprise. 

"My group members aren't going in there. Who knows what kind of danger..." 

He was stopped midway in his sentence by a kick to his shin from Han .

"You talk like that and I'll knock you out" Han said.

"Hmphh....You're a Bully!" 

" I'll tell the Patriarch about it,Han!"

" Hmphh . Wait and see!"

Han ignored the rants and mumblings of Anthony. 

Everyone in the group was now used to it.

"Alright, we go in together " Han stated.
