"Just like the Elven King's eyes," the girl suddenly remarked.
Ilodyer turned to look at the girl, and smiling gently: "Yes, they are."
He walked over and pulled her to sit on the grass outside the Evergreen Glade Forest.
The girl's fair legs bore scratches from the Evergreen Glade Forest branches.
Ilodyer pulled out a piece of cloth from his own clothes and used it to cover the exposed areas outside her shoes, where she was injured.
"I don't possess Elven healing magic, so this is the best I can do," Ilodyer said as he bandaged her wounds.
"The fabric made by the elves can stop bleeding and prevent infection. Let's do this until we reach the town ahead."
"Thank you, Mr. Ilodyer," the girl nodded.
"I'm sorry for causing you trouble."
"I don't have a place to stay outside the Evergreen Glade Forest, so you'll have to accommodate me temporarily," Ilodyer said, and looking up at her.
