"Morning, love." Zane's lashes fluttered when he heard Phoenix's voice and he opened his eyes. He turned to the right where Phoenix was sitting cross-legged on the bed, he was holding some sort of ancient device in his hands as he played a game.

It could only be a game that would make his brows so punched, he was probably losing too.

"Good morning." Zane's sleepy murmur sent desire shooting through Phoenix. It was the kind of noise only a lover would hear. Intimate. Soft. Sweet. A crash sounded through his phone as a bold lettering of Game Over sounded on the phone. Phoenix could feel the familiar hunger in his stomach returning with full force and he settled for running his fingers through Zane's head, "I saw your messages when I got back this morning. Sorry. I did not reply."
