Chapter 49: Notus Cross

"Liv! Can you hear me? It is Olivia. Come back to me. Big Sister is here!" Olivia's cold voice seemed to be the perfect cure for Oliver and the haze that was in his brown eyes for over an hour dissipated.

Olivia turned to look at Zane, there was something in her eyes that made goosebumps appear on Zane's skin, "I won't ask." He said, the kind expression on his face, not even moving an inch.

Olivia searched his face as if she was looking for something and then her taut expression relaxed a bit, "Thank you! I will never forget this favour in my life. Thank you for not calling anyone."

Zane smiled but then asked quietly, "I know, I said I would not ask but is the building dangerous." He rubbed the nape of his neck, "I am asking for myself. I know I don't look it but I am actually cautious. I am scared of dying."

Olivia propped her brother up, "No, do not worry about it. Amherst College is very safe."
