Chapter 9: Chapter 9 Acting Coquettishly Sweet
The shrimp had only just reached Ning Xiaofei's lips, and she hadn't even bitten down yet, when she heard these two words.

Mu Tianye narrowed his eyes and opened his mouth to catch the half shrimp, immediately biting down and catching her finger.

Ning Xiaofei sucked in a breath of cold air from the pain, and seeing the others across from her, she promptly retracted her expression and withdrew her hand from his mouth.

"Xiaofei is right." Ji Jing passed a crab to Mu Tianye, "This is a Yangcheng Lake hairy crab that has just been air-flown in. Try it and see if it suits your taste."
"Yes, yes, yes, please do try!" The couple from the Ji Family echoed immediately.
"Here, let me peel it for hubby!"
Ning Xiaofei reached over and took the crab, knowing full well what Ji Jing had in mind.

Ji Jing's chest heaved with anger as she was intercepted by Ning Xiaofei, though she kept a smile on her face, "I saw your exhibition in France; your work is truly grand and impressive."
"Of course, our Tianye is talented in both the arts and martial prowess, adept at everything." Ning Xiaofei once again cut in, offering the peeled crab meat to Mu Tianye's mouth, "Hubby has been working so hard recently, have some crab to nourish yourself!"
"President Mu." Assistant Zhou approached, "It's time for you to leave; you have a meeting this afternoon."
"Oh dear, look at my memory!" Ning Xiaofei released Mu Tianye's arm as if pardoned, "How could I forget such an important matter of my husband? Work is important, please go ahead!"
Mu Tianye stood up, "Mr. Ji, I'll be leaving first."
The elder Mr. Ji nodded his head, "Zichuan, see Tianye out."
Ji Zichuan and the others also stood up to follow him. Ning Xiaofei took a sip of juice from her cup, then grasped the crab leg on her plate, ready to indulge without having to attend to the master; she could finally eat to her heart's content. Now everyone knew how "deeply in love" she and Mu Tianye were; let's see if they dared to bully her.
Seeing Ning Xiaofei still sitting in her chair, Mu Tianye's pupils suddenly contracted.
Sneaky girl, just after borrowing so much prestige from him, had she crossed the river and demolished the bridge, tossing him aside so quickly?
Just as Ning Xiaofei was about to bite into the crab leg she had pinched, a hand reached over like a pair of pliers and grabbed her wrist, pulling her up from the chair. Turning to see Mu Tianye, Ning Xiaofei hurriedly offered a pleasing smile.
