Chapter 8: Chapter 8: Affection is the Show
Ning Xiaofei pulled Mu Tianye to sit down and unceremoniously took the seat next to him, which belonged to Ji Jing. Barely touching the chair, she immediately turned her face to a waiter and commanded, "Quickly add a set of cutlery for my husband!"
Left a "husband," right a "husband," she called out affectionately and smoothly.

Mu Tianye gave a sidelong glance at the girl next to him.

Ning Xiaofei eagerly curried favor, fearing that he would turn against her at the dining table and that she could no longer wield power under false pretenses. Ning Xiaofei quietly breathed a sigh of relief and immediately stuffed the shrimp into his mouth. She withdrew her fingers, noticing a bit of shrimp meat on her fingertips, and instinctively brought her fingers to her lips. She extended her little tongue and wrapped it around the shrimp meat into her mouth.
From last night until now, she hadn't eaten a thing. She didn't know if he were hungry, but she was already so famished she could hardly wait to dig in.
Compared to the sycophantic faces of the Ji Family, this girl was far more interesting.
Noticing that Ning Xiaofei had already peeled the second shrimp, Mu Tianye immediately spoke up.
