Chapter 16: Chapter 16 Still Sensible
"Shut up!" Mu Tianye suddenly stood up, "Stop feeding me that brand value crap, if you can't make me money, then get out!"
"Yes, Mr. Mu!" The project manager immediately nodded, "We'll go back and revise the scheme right away."
A few people quickly left his office, and the assistant Zhou Tao carefully approached him.
"Mr. Mu, it's almost nine o'clock, shouldn't you also be heading home?"
Call him home when the work isn't finished yet?
Mu Tianye glanced sidelong, "You don't want to work here anymore either?"
"Of course not." Zhou Tao forced a smile, "You... didn't you have plans with the lady?"
As his assistant, Zhou Tao wasn't just in charge of scheduling his work and social commitments, but also kept track of all his appointments. He had already heard the "Wait for me tonight" that Mu Tianye had told Ning Xiaofei in the underground parking lot, and of course, he took care to remember it well.

Moments later, Mu Tianye was sitting in the car driving to the villa, smelling the scent of flowers inside the car, he frowned and turned his head, immediately noticing a gift box placed at the corner of the seat.
"I prepared a bouquet for you, the finest champagne roses."
Roses?
Mu Tianye glanced at the gift box on the car seat and snorted disdainfully.
"There's no need for that."
He wasn't going there to win her over, so why should he bring her roses?
Zhou Tao, unsure of his mood, could only offer a forced smile and look away.
Soon, the car entered the most expensive villa community in A City, stopped in front of the villa which had the best location with a full view of the lake.
Mu Tianye glanced at the lights on the third floor and stepped out of the car.
Zhou Tao had already taken out a spare key to open the door for him, and when the driver saw the roses in the car, he hurried to bring them over.
"Mr. Mu, your flowers!"
By this time, Zhou Tao had the door open, and Mu Tianye glanced at the flowers presented by the driver, grabbed them carelessly with his fingers, and walked inside.
Zhou Tao wisely stayed at the door, "What time would you like me to come to pick you up?"
Mu Tianye casually placed the roses on a small table in the entrance hall.
"7 a.m."
"Alright, Mr. Mu, see you tomorrow."
With a farewell, Zhou Tao gently closed the door, got back in the car with the driver, and they both departed.
Inside the house, Mu Tianye casually took off his suit jacket and hung it on the coat rack in the hall. He glanced at the empty hallway and went upstairs. Reaching the third floor, he went straight to the master bedroom and entered.
The room was empty; on the bedside sofa lay a champagne-colored woman's bra, which he recognized at a glance as the one Ning Xiaofei wore the night before.
Noticing the faint noise from the massage bathtub in the bathroom, Mu Tianye's lips curved up in satisfaction.
Knowing to wash up and wait for him showed some sense!
He pulled off his tie and threw it aside, then walked towards the bathroom. He raised his right hand to unbutton his shirt while his left hand didn't hesitate to push the slightly ajar bathroom door open.
